### 4/5 — Seems to be working

*2026-01-08, version 1.15*

I plugged in my antenna and pointed it in the direction it said and I got like 40 channels. Worked great for my antenna direct

### 4/5 — A Really Good App

*2021-07-17, version 1.11.4*

I have used other apps in the past and this is now probably my favorite. I was impressed with how Glenn responds (quickly) to questions and suggestions.
Another example of Glenn’s explanation was his discussion on the difference between True and Magnetic North (and how to switch the iPhone Compass app from magnetic to true North. Because this app uses True North.
After those discussions, there is one enhancement that I think would be a good addition. In map, you can see stations any distance from you (by varying the zoom). But in the Compass tab, the app is limited to 60 mile radius. I would like to see the ability to vary the radius (from 60 miles) to other distances. I ran into this instance in Dubuque, IA where I was receiving stations outside the (fixed) 60 mile radius and had to use the other tabs/detail section to get a compass bearing.
That is why I didn’t give it 5 stars (even though I feel it does deserves more than 4 stars 🙂).

### 3/5 — Compass fail...

*2020-01-14, version 1.10.0*

I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the compass function does not work on my phone.
I look up the tower data and use my compass app on my phone to “aim”...kinda defeats the purpose. I’ll update if it starts working...

### 5/5 — Awesome for Finding Stations

*2019-06-25, version 1.9.4*

As an RV’er, TV Towers is how we find local channels everywhere we stay. We know exactly which direction to point our antenna for best reception.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2019-06-22, version 1.9.4*

Overall really happy with this app

### 3/5 — Use of

*2019-04-16, version 1.9.3*

Not very useful if you’re having problems with receiving antenna strength problems and a directional HD antenna.

### 5/5 — Just what I needed

*2019-04-12, version 1.9.3*

I manage several conference rooms and we use OTA during catastrophic events. Instead of browsing website and feeding information I can open this app, finds my location automatically, choose a channel and shows you where to point.

### 5/5 — Umm...

*2019-02-26, version 1.9.1*

Wow! You don’t run across many great apps like this very often.

Fantastic job Mr. developer keep up the good work

### 5/5 — Super easy to use.

*2018-12-10, version 1.9*

Great app for finding TV towers, and lining up your antenna.

Rob

### 5/5 — Best app purchase... EVER

*2018-10-11, version 1.8.6*

This app is great. The best purchase I’ve ever made on the iPhone App Store. TV towers USA Shows all of my channels and the compass even helps. Almost instant tech-support from the author. So many times I drop a few bucks and feel cheated with all kinds a junkie iPhone apps, this is not one of them. It’s worth 10 times the cost.

### 5/5 — I really like this app works great for aiming off air antennas

*2018-10-10, version 1.8.6*

Love it works great
If you installing a off sit antenna this is a great app for aiming you antenna I’m a professional installer and use it every day
Thanks

### 5/5 — Worth it!

*2018-10-02, version 1.8.6*

This app takes the guess work out of where to aim your antenna! I picked up an additional 18 channels! 😃

### 5/5 — Fantastic app. Has no comparisons.

*2018-06-18, version 1.8.6*

This is a fantastic app if you need to point a TV antenna (or FM or AM with the developers other apps). Or see the distance between you and a specific station’s transmitter site. The interface is clean and organized, it looks and operates like a million bucks. Also the developer once responded to an email where I had mentioned a tower had moved, and within about a day he found some new way to update his databases to reflect it. Phenomenal. Buy the bundle and get all three. TV, FM, and AM. It’s a good deal and could be fun and/or useful!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cr@p of an app. Customer service is worthless.

*2021-11-01, version 1.11.4*

Don’t waste your money. I contacted CS and of course they blame my phone. I have never had a problem with an app before now I do and it’s my phone’s fault. Garbage app with garbage support.

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2020-12-09, version 1.11.2*

Upon few days of use, this app does not provide much information about stations and the map is confusing.

### 1/5 — Mr

*2019-11-24, version 1.10.0*

The compass does not work, which was the only reason I got this app. Don’t wast your money if your looking to use the compass.

### 1/5 — Not current

*2019-06-08, version 1.9.4*

Not current towers

### 1/5 — Junk

*2018-06-03, version 1.8.6*

Compass is very inconsistent also can’t scroll down on list of channels on compass so if u are looking for a channel not on list u dono if you are actually pointing towards the channel u want worst 2.00$ ever would not let me rate 0 stars😡 compass is actually bout 70 degrees off w no settings

### 1/5 — Does not cover Austin, Texas

*2018-05-12, version 1.8.6*

Was installing an HD antenna to cut the cable and wanted this app to point my antenna. None of my local stations are covered by this app. Wasted my $$ on this one!!

### 1/5 — You can't watch TV from this app. Rip off.

*2017-05-13, version 1.8.1*

You can't watch TV from this app. Rip off.

### 1/5 — Dave

*2016-02-07, version 1.7*

Worst app ever. I paid for something I can get for free off the net. It says point and it will show. Doesn't happen like that at all!!

### 2/5 — Which way is it???

*2017-02-20, version 1.8.1*

This would be a nice app if it pointed in the right direction! Most of the time its sense of direction differs from the compass app. How can that be? Once in a while it will point in the correct direction.

### 3/5 — It’s ok

*2021-03-08, version 1.11.3*

The contours button doesn’t work. The compass won’t show stations further away than about 40 miles.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Don’t waste money on fancy signal finders. This works!

*2024-08-20, version 1.12*

I was looking on Amazon and Walmart for a signal finder. Prices varied from $25 to $100+ with mixed reviews. I found this app again with some mixed reviews but for only $2 I thought I would give it a try. I used the compass to position my cheap indoor antenna. I went from having only 7 channels in the bedroom to almost 50. I did the same in the living room which seemed to be doing better and I went from 30ish channels to almost 50. This $2 has saved me a lot of money as I was even considering prior to this getting an outdoor antenna professionally installed. In addition to all the extra channels all the ones I already had are showing so much clearer and are not randomly scrambling.

### 5/5 — All of the tower apps are great and great reference tool.

*2023-12-22, version 1.12*

This is a great app for a helping hand on knowledgeable projects.
I would highly recommend getting this app today without any hesitation.

### 5/5 — Quit working on 2 iPhone

*2022-12-07, version 1.11.7*

IOS 16.1.2 turned off compass calibration but the compass still worked perfectly only the TV towers app quick working on 2 different iphones. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Working again after turning it back on.

### 5/5 — A helpful resource

*2022-08-29, version 1.11.6*

So nice to have a view of tower locations to tweak one’s antenna.

### 5/5 — Delightfully surprised!

*2022-08-27, version 1.11.6*

Oh my! It works SO well! I’ve been struggling with lining up my antenna for the last 2 years. Then I came across this app! At first I was a bit confused on how to use it but then found a YouTube video explaining how to use it…. So simple! Went out and tried it and with one twist of the pole I had all the channels from the closest tower! No rescanning, no running back and forth between the TV a and the outdoor antenna, pure bliss!

### 5/5 — Perfect! Worked as advertised!

*2021-01-12, version 1.11.2*

I had an antenna to mount in my attic space and in an area that was very difficult to get to. Bagged up everything needed along with the antennae and proceeded to climb, crawl, and balance. Mounted the antennae and aligned it with the App to hopefully never return. Perfect alignment and strong signal on almost 70 channels!! App worked perfectly!!

### 5/5 — ONE TIME

*2020-11-26, version 1.11.2*

Just buy it. Developer will even answer questions they’re not obligated to answer. Give the man his two dollars...climb up on your roof ONE TIME...and be done with it. Don’t even mess around with the free apps.

### 5/5 — Extemely helpful

*2020-10-04, version 1.11.2*

Purchased this app after seeing YouTube video. Had a little trouble initially with the compass feature. Wrote the developer and received a response quickly regarding a a setting in my iPhone. Worked great afterwards and used it to validate my OTA direction. Great app, recommend highly for “cut the cord” enthusiasts.

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2019-10-14, version 1.9.4*

If you’re installing an antenna, this app is priceless. You can clearly see where your local stations are located with a compass that makes it easy to point the antenna without needing a partner to check the reception or making a hundred trips up and down the ladder. It’s simple and packed with lots of useful information. Thanks for making this handy tool.

### 5/5 — Great useful app for OTA users

*2019-07-26, version 1.9.4*

What a great app! At first, I was hesitant and it would not believe it would work until I start viewing on channels that I know I had issue on prior to the adjustment. Thank you so much for the app.
