Can‘t be used as AU or within a sequencer. Can not record audio. It is not for musicians. VERY dissspointed! **Developer response:** TV3 can be used either as a standalone app or as an AUv3 plugin. Are you having trouble loading it inside a specific app? While it can’t record audio, it can generate basslines with a single click, and you can also export the MIDI for those basslines. And it is definitely made for musicians, by musicians. If you’re having issues loading the AUv3 version, please reach out to us through our website so we can assist you further. Best regards ### 2/5 — Sorry, just a bad 303 *2025-12-27* I tried all TB-303-clones and even have a real one, but this is the worst of all. While the sound is okay, you can just create patterns randomly. It has no delay and no reverb. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! When we developed TV3, our goal was to create an acid machine capable of generating bass lines quickly and easily, without the need of much input. Since it also functions as an AUv3 plugin, we initially intended for FX processing to be handled externally by the host. However, we are always listening to user feedback and love updating our apps to make them even better. I was surprised there’s no pattern support or sequence editing (a la Pure Acid), just MIDI pattern export. It’s early days but a stripped back/focused 303 bass sequencer like Rosetta Bassline/Pure Acid would be an awesome addition. **Developer response:** Thank you very much for your review! But… What about tempo? How to change tempo? I’m just calculated and think - probably all of the generated patterns suitable always only for 120bpm? Recording function also will be great to see in future updates, and maybe some sound change screen panels like Kaossilator pads for live performance and recording too! **Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your review and feedback. Currently its not possible to change the tempo of the app, so yes, all the patterns will have a bpm of 120. Best regards ### 5/5 — Colorful Acid without the sequencing stress *2025-11-25* Super fun to just generate a random pattern, but works well with traditional MIDI sequencing too. I’ve got a 303 hardware clone but for something quick, this app is hard to beat. Great variety of sounds too. I was pleasantly surprised with this though. The pattern and synth gens are on a different level. You will have a rocking bassline cooking in 15 secs flat. Recommended! Edit: one request would be a quick and easy way to bounce the audio to a wav from within the app (currently you can bounce midi) **Developer response:** Thank you very much for your review and feedback! This delivers squelchy acid tones and a lot more. Definitely the best 303 emulation on iOS.
