But there’s no structure, I don’t know my progress. So it’s more like a fun app if you have a spare time in the train or while standing in a queue. A bit difficult to navigate app from phone, too complicated to find for instance only grammar exercises. It’s very easy though to do it while on the website. Personally, I prefer the app to be device compatible! ### 1/5 — Please Bring Back The Features of the ‘7 Jours’ App *2022-07-11, version 3.3* The shift by TV5 from the previous ‘7 Jours Sur La Planete’ app to the ‘Learn French’ app has been extremely disappointing. As a student of French, the ‘7 Jours’ app was excellent aid for improving my French pronunciation. It did this by providing audio vocabulary lists for each news feature as well as audio vocabulary lists of hundreds of other words in various categories. The audio vocabulary lists that ‘7 Jours’ provided were also an excellent aid for building my vocabulary. In addition, I could practice the vocabulary I studied in the app using the Leitner method where my weakest words are tested more frequently. Incorporating an archive of all the content from the ‘7 Jours’ app into the ‘Learn French’ app would improve its usefulness drastically.
