When trying to play video I am getting an authentication error. The error message tells me to set the tvheadnserver to both plain and digest. Unfortunately my server are is already set to this option. So bascially I am stuck and cannot play recordings. My tvheadend server is in a docker on my home server. macos: I have tested the app. In this setup I have a docker container locally running on my Mac. I also can connect to the server and in this case I can also play back videos. Unfortunately the administration of recording is crashing the app. summary: nice interface bug super buggy and in my case not ready for productive use. Kodi is working in all setups flawlessly. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2025-01-19, version 1.0.109* Does not detect my Tvheadend server and unable to add IP manually. How do I get my money back from this utter rubbish ### 1/5 — Server not discovered *2024-12-30* Overall it seems to have potential. But as my Server is not discovered it remains useless. It‘s a paid app, so please fix this. Leider kann ich mich noch nicht einmal zu meinem Server verbinden, da die automatische Suche nichts findet. You can now enter the address and port number of your TVheadend server manually. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work - avoid *2021-02-26, version 1.0* Very simply it doesn’t work. On opening the app it presents a screen to select your server but doesn’t detect the server and doesn’t offer an option to specify the IP address manually. So that’s that. Also there doesn’t appear to be any way to contact the developer. ### 1/5 — Cannot find tvheadend server *2021-02-09* Cannot find tvheadend server. Manual input of IP not possible. Crashes to Home Screen when attempting to play recordings or use search. Would be helpful to be able to add a remote server URL manually and not have to be on the same network. Shows promise but really is not worth it’s value currently. ### 2/5 — Live TV: ja, Aufnahmen: stürzt ab *2021-04-10* Die App bedient sich ganz gut und Live TV finde ich sehr gut gelungen. Leider stürzt die App immer ab, wenn ich die fertigen Aufnahmen öffnen möchte und mitunter stürzt die App auch im EPG ab. Dafür finde ich den Preis noch nicht in Ordnung! Bitte so schnell wie möglich nachbessern. **Developer response:** Does your server transcode the recordings? If so, please switch that off and record the raw mpeg2 or mp4 streams. ### 5/5 — Läuft perfekt auf allen Geräten *2025-06-26* In der aktuellen Version 1.21 läuft der Client perfekt auf AppleTV und IOS.
