The new layout is a lot better and makes it easier to find what I’m looking for. One thing I wish was easier is a way to change reminders to change how early I want to be reminded. I’m usually reminded 5 minutes before but would like to change it to an hour before for all future reminders of a particular show but it isn’t really clear where I can do that. Otherwise, it’s a terrific app. ### 2/5 — TV App Update Missed *2026-02-16, version 7.3.1* this app has been my go-to app for my over the air tv channels for many years i’ve referred several of my friends to it & it was always so easy to use & had most of the info i was looking for, however, the recent update to the app is not as user friendly as what it was before before: you could just keep scrolling down to get to the next upcoming shows or scroll up to see the previous shows that had already aired now: you have to keep going back out to select the next show you want to view & it’s easy to lose your place & very frustrating & redundant before: when viewing the info on any show, you could see the season and episode of the show & the synopsis of each episode was in the description now: you can’t see the season or episode of any current show and there is no more synopsis of each episode. it’s just the same thing on each show, which is just a description of the entire series. while viewing the current show, you can scroll down to view the upcoming shows list and that list includes the season & episode for those shows, until they’re actually showing & then that info is not anywhere it would be nice if we could have an option as to which version we would like to use, cuz i’d go back to the previous version i don’t understand why anybody thought it was necessary to change a good thing, since this new app is clearly not a step forward … it’s very disappointing ### 2/5 — Settings disappeared *2026-02-04, version 7.3.0* Settings icon disappeared since the recent update. The new app lists the programs on our cable company’s lineup, BUT . . . it automatically goes back to the beginning of the listings when I simply want to continue looking further (for instance, go from channel 70 on to channel 163 instead of being forced to start from scratch all over again). ### 3/5 — New look- less. Features *2026-01-12, version 7.2.8* I had only 2 problems with the updated guide. 1. They no longer list the cast members when you click through for details and 2. I used to be able to scroll through the details of the next few episodes on a channel. Now they don’t show the details of upcoming episodes. That’s really annoying and making me use this guide less and less. Those things were better in the old version. Also when you filter to save certain sports , etc they are unsaved once you go back ### 3/5 — They removed synopsis *2026-01-09, version 7.2.8* Overnight the synopsis for each show has been removed. Features *2026-01-04* I have 2 problems with the updated guide. 1. They no longer list the cast members when you click through for details and 2. I used to be able to scroll through the details of the next few episodes on a channel. Now I have to back track to the channel, move to the next episode, then click for details again. Now it’s a glorified cable guide. ### 1/5 — Definitely not “genius,”but rather now stupid. *2025-12-26, version 7.2.8* They made major mistakes when they “updated “ it. It takes longer to load, you can’t go from one day to another without a very long wait time, and lettering is large and not truly adjustable. I have had this for years, but I will be removing it. It’s as slow as it can be when it works and it doesn’t work all the time. Every time you I want to look at an individual channel for the night I may as well just get online and look because it may or may not load. I’m going back to the old one from my other phone. Never had any issues with it. This is pure junk. ### 1/5 — Doesnt store customizations *2026-06-16, version 7.4.6* Terrible app. I spent a lot of time customizing my preferred channels & the next time I opened the app POOF my preferred channels were gone. I like that it’s silent, no crazy music like some. I also like the quick icon buttons across the top when in a channel to be able to jump to another channel without backing out. I would like to have a provider option to switch from cable to satellite or antenna and not have to loose my customer settings. ### 5/5 — TV Listings *2025-05-17, version 6.6.4* I had this app for a few weeks and never liked it much as it didn’t seem user friendly. It scrolled too quickly and you could easily lose you place, time, date, etc of shows. But it looks like they have made a change and it’s much more user friendly. Easier to stay on correct time, channel, and just as important, a quick summery of the upcoming show. So right now this is my go to channel guide app ### 5/5 — Best TV Guide App *2024-12-28, version 6.6.4* Even with the ads, this is the best tv guide app I’ve tried. Now, with 4+ channels for each of the broadcast ones, I find this to be a wonderful help.
