Takes ages to get rid of pop ups and now channels and programs don’t even match..,,, extremely frustrating and now I’m going to have to find another app.. ### 1/5 — Constant popup ads now *2025-08-31* This used to be my go-to app for TV listings, but as of a couple of weeks ago, it now delivers a constant barrage of popup adverts covering nearly the entire screen. There are two ads at a time that pop up. When you exit out of those ads, you get a few seconds until the next two ads cover the screen. Of course ads are fine in moderation and are likely to be necessary to fund a free app…but these literally make it unusable. As soon as you close one, another screen covering ad pops up. Up until recently the ads have become increasing intrusive. I understand they need this as a revenue stream; but it’s gotten to the point that this app is now unusable, due to the intrusiveness of the ads. Just one issue… If you can add the movie icon(s) to the live tv listings similar to the now & next listing as very hard to see what a movie is from quick glance. ### 5/5 — So handy, a go too many times! *2023-07-28* I have had this app many years, it’s very handy when I go travelling with the family and don’t have the normal set up at home as it’s usually just Freeview, this app has been my go too for many years when we are all settled and looking to find something to watch, the information and the easy simple use of the app is superb. My only criticism is that I tried to download on my relatives phones for them to use but I could not find it on the App Store, I feel lucky to have it but can’t seem to locate it to download for others ### 5/5 — Love the new home screen *2020-04-10* I see a few ads but its like every other app out there... **Developer response:** Thank you for being understanding. We are trying to limit the impact on users but still generate enough revenue to provide the best TV listings service. At the moment we only have one ad on start. The rest of your experience is ad-free. ### 5/5 — It used to be a really good app but... *2018-02-03* It’s been changed recently; you always got adverts which is OK but you don’t get a programme guide now, or any information. When you click on the ‘guide’ feature, you get redirected to programme’s website. I gave this five stars before but after the recent I don’t think it’s anywhere near as good as it was unfortunately. But - they’ve changed it again! Hurrah! I'm in the US and watch UKTV through my ROKU, and without this app I would have no clue what was on. The other apps kick you out when you click for information. It helps me from missing my favorite shows, and there’s an endless supply of them these days so I can actually get some order to them and see whats on & where!
