TweetSpot listens to the birds around you and tells you what they are, entirely on your phone. No signal, no data, no waiting on a server. Just tap record, and it names what it hears.

A clearer results screen, and an important fix for your saved recordings.

Every bird now gets its own card, with its illustration and a tap through to the full profile. How sure we were, and when in the clip it called, sit together on one line.

Sharing is simpler. One Share button asks whether you want the audio or the written list, for the whole recording or for a single bird.

Fixed: saved recordings could stop playing after an app update. They work again, including the ones you already have.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-07

Better bird illustrations, and a faster field guide.

• Every one of the 973 watercolours has been checked and corrected. Some birds had parts of the artwork missing, or stray white patches left behind. All fixed.
• The field guide list now loads instantly and works with no signal at all.
• TweetSpot now tells you when it thinks it heard a person whistling rather than a real bird, instead of quietly guessing at a species.
• Small fixes to sharing, and to how a recording remembers where you were when you made it.
