Twende is a Tanzanian app for rides, deliveries and orders. Book a boda, bajaji or taxi in minutes, see the full fare before you confirm, and pay cash or cashless (Mobile Money or Bank). HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Twende and enter where you want to go. 2. Choose a boda, bajaji or taxi. The price shows straight away. 3. A nearby driver comes to you, and you follow them on the map. 4. Pay at the end, cash or cashless (Mobile Money or Bank). THE FARE YOU SEE IS THE FARE YOU PAY Twende shows you the full fare before you book. The price does not change unless you change your destination during the trip. SCHEDULE A RIDE Travelling early in the morning, or going to the airport? Schedule your ride for the day and time you want, and a driver will be there. eGUTA, DAR ES SALAAM Have goods at Kariakoo or in town? Twende has electric eGuta carts. Enter the pickup and drop-off, see the price before you book, and the eGuta comes to you. One eGuta can stop at several shops on one trip, and you can book an eGuta for someone else. DELIVERIES OF ALL KINDS Water by truck (bowser), food, shopping, cooking gas, small parcels, and heavy loads such as sand and gravel by truck. Electric eGuta carts for goods around Kariakoo and town. SEND A DELIVERY Send a delivery within town by boda or bajaji, or from region to region by truck. Track your goods until they arrive. CLEAN WATER Order clean drinking water delivered to your home, office or building site. FOOD AND SHOPS Order food from restaurants, shopping from a shop or market stall, cooking gas, stays, technicians and agents. Order inside Twende, pay inside Twende. SAFETY Every Twende driver is registered and their documents are checked. Share your trip with family so they can see where you are at all times, and there is an emergency button inside the app. MADE EASY Save home and work so you do not type the address every day. Chat with your driver inside the app. See a receipt for every trip and your full history. Left something in the vehicle? Report it inside the app. WALLET AND INVITES Top up your Twende wallet and pay without looking for change. Invite your friends to Twende with your code. CITIES Twende is available in Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Dodoma, Mbeya, Morogoro, Mwanza and Tanga, with more cities coming. More information: www.twende.co.tz ## Is Twende Rides & Deliveries safe?
