Just Make it a paid app entirely at this point. Uninstalled. **Developer response:** Hi Tsundani, thank you for sharing your thoughts. I wanted to follow up and let you know that I took your feedback about restrictions seriously. Since your review, I have completely reworked the free tier to open up more features. Both theme colors and the ability to view streams directly from the Twitch and Kick tabs are now entirely free for all users. My goal is to make the app highly functional without a paywall getting in the way, so I hope you will consider reinstalling to see the updates for yourself. To get the lowest possible latency, head over to the app's Settings > Stream Player and enable "Use Native Player". When turned off, streams can lag by around 8 to 10 seconds. Turning it on uses the Amazon IVS SDK, which is the exact same SDK powering Twitch and Kick for ultra-low latency playback. If this helps fix the delay for you, we would really appreciate it if you'd consider updating your review to 5 stars. I'm committed to making this right and earning a better review from you! ### 4/5 — Best App On The Planet *2026-07-11* This might be the first person to have a mobile app with 7TV, BTTV, & FFZ support **&** pinned messages support from twitch. I don’t know whats the magic behind it but since I use chatterino on my computer, you can’t see pinned messages still unfortunately. However, this app solves that problem. Thanks for the support, it really makes our day! ### 4/5 — Needs some fixes. *2026-06-19* This app is AMAZING! no ads. Twitch and kick streamers. With 7tv emotes! Almost everything is perfect. Besides a couple things. Number 1. For some reason. The animated 7tv emotes don’t move in the chat. Number 2. You can’t block chatters on the app. Number 3. Delay. This probably isn’t fixable, but there is like a 3-5 second delay on every stream, Hopefully this is fixable. Number 4. Predictions. Really glad you're enjoying Twick overall. On 7TV emote animation, animated emotes should work in the app. If they're showing up static on your device, that's something we'd like to look into. On blocking chatters, we're improving that in an upcoming update with clearer ways to hide users you don't want to see in chat. Stream delay is partly how Twitch's player works on mobile, though settings like native player and quality can change how it feels, so it's worth trying if you haven't already. For predictions, we don't have that yet. If it's something you'd like to see, please drop it in our Discord suggestions section so we can track demand for it. If you're willing, the best way for us to dig into the other issues is through Discord. You can join from Settings in the app, then open a ticket in bug-reports with your device, iOS version, and which issue you're seeing (emotes, delay, blocking, etc.). That gets straight to the dev side and helps us reproduce and fix things much faster than App Store reviews allow. Thanks again for the support. Feedback like yours really helps. Hope to see you in Discord. ### 4/5 — Chat history isn’t loading *2026-06-17* This is a nice app, great UI and thoughtfully implemented, but the chat history isn’t loading when tapping into a stream, even though I have that setting enabled. **Developer response:** Hi e46728228, thank you again for the kind words about the UI! I wanted to follow up on this and let you know that it turns out there actually was a bug on our end causing chat history to fail to load when tapping into a stream. We managed to track it down and successfully rolled out a fix for it in version 2.1.1. Please make sure you update to the latest version of the app to get your chat history loading properly again.
