### 5/5 — Best free dice roller I’ve found.

*2022-03-09, version 2.0.2*

Amazing dice roller. No ads, and it even has coins and fate dice. Plus, there’s widget functionality, which is super cool.

### 5/5 — Worth a coffee

*2022-02-25, version 2.0.2*

Definitely worth a coffee

### 5/5 — Well designed

*2021-09-29, version 2.0.2*

Takes advantage of ipad features, clean UI.

Very well made app

### 5/5 — I use it when I DM games

*2021-02-24, version 2.0.2*

Love the interface and the options. The roll feedback is a cool feature.

### 5/5 — Beautiful!

*2020-12-26*

This is definitely the best dice system on iOS. I just wished that it have the option to auto clear in each roll of the dices 😊

### 5/5 — Very useful.

*2020-12-06, version 2.0.2*

This is a very good no frills dice roller, probably one of the best. I hope the dev could add an option to change the results to show from below to above instead the default from above to bellow. That and maybe a d66 would be perfect!

### 5/5 — Slick!

*2020-09-25, version 2.0.2*

Interface takes some getting used to, but after that it’s fast and easy, ready for game night!

### 5/5 — How awesome!! - Will recommend to friends!!

*2020-09-19*

Best dice rolling app I’ve ever seen!! You’ve done an amazing job on the styling and interactivity of the app.
If I were to recommend a change to the layout though, move the settings button to the top corner of the screen, and use that new space to put the buttons for custom/saved rolls.
This way, it’s less effort to scroll to a saved roll, and also means more options on the screen.

I look forward to seeing how you continue development 😁

**Developer response:** Thanks for the rating and review! I'm glad you like it.

I'll certainly take the feedback into consideration in future versions.

### 3/5 — Getting There

*2025-01-14, version 4.2.0*

Among the dicerolling apps this one seems to come closest to being the real deal (I.e. actually useful to play DnD and be able to clearly and intuitively roll whatever you want). However, the way you clear the dice results is clumsy and also clears the modifiers you applied to the dice. Having to redo the modifier every time you clear the dice is a huge headache.

### 3/5 — Love the app, but iOS 17…

*2023-09-21, version 4.1.2*

My widget on the Home Screen was working, until the most recent update. Now it's just a black square.

### 3/5 — Good design with improvable usability

*2020-01-27, version 1.1.1*

I got this app because it seemed really cool, and it is. I love the design and the colors of the app. I don’t really find it user friendly nor intuitive though. I think it would be more pleasing seeing the dices distributed on the screen rather than having a small list. Every dice can have the resulted number at the center and the total on the top of screen (just like it does now). It would be better if you could reroll a single dice just by tapping on it and deleting it with a quick swipe down (or another gesture): that way deleting and rerolling dices would be way faster. There could a specific button at the bottom of the screen to reroll all dices and another one to delete them. If these changes were made, I would consider this app flawless. Unit then I’ll consider it a nice app that can be even better.

### 4/5 — Minimalist to a fault

*2026-02-23, version 4.6.3*

This app is the best dice app on iOS, especially being completely free with no ads or data mining, however the app is so minimalist that it flattens the enjoyment of rolling dice in the process.

The first simple issue is that rolling instantly provides you the result. It doesn't attempt to simulate the brief but joyous anticipation of watching a dice roll in real life that make them entertaining to use. While im not expecting 3D dice as that's a lot of work to even get a mediocre result and its the thing worse dice apps do, it would be nice to have each dice randomize a little before settling on a result, or even just the total to provide a similar kind of emotional resonance.

The second simple issue is that the app has hidden a few too many functions into invisible interaction layers in the name of minimalism that can make the app less accessible and more difficult to learn and use. Dragging UI elements like the number in unusual ways or shaking the phone to reroll is gonna be less accessible than a button for some people so i think it's worth mentioning.

I love simple, focused apps with no shenanigans and this gets close, i just think it needs a little tuning.

### 4/5 — Perfect for summed up dice results

*2024-05-04*

If you need your dice results summed up, this app is perfect for you. It has split view and you can roll any dice that you want in any combination you need.

But I need single dice results. And those are just too tiny to decipher for my eyes.

### 4/5 — Useful

*2023-08-12, version 4.0.2*

But how to of deleting the dice of not wanted? And how can into widget?

### 4/5 — Missing Features (Update 9/20)

*2020-09-21, version 2.0.2*

I like the app a lot, it looks nice and works well but I’m missing some of the features like custom rolls. I can’t make or edit them and that was one of the reasons I downloaded this app. I can see the picture that shows what that looks like but I don’t have access to it. If it’s an extra paid feature then I don’t think that was obvious. I’m more confused and disappointed than angry though and I hope the issue either gets fixed or gets addressed. I’ve gone through the tutorial a few times just to make sure I didn’t miss anything but that changes nothing. :(

Dev reached out and helped me figure out what I was missing! I appreciate the assistance a lot. I do wish it was included in the tutorial, but otherwise I’ve no other issues! Thanks!

### 5/5 — Clean and simple

*2025-05-05, version 4.5.4*

It’s super easy to use and versatile, which is awesome! I love that I can make character specific dice bags, too! I wasn’t able to find away to change the default crit settings for the d20 (for systems where a crit 1 is a success/ 20 crit fail), but that is only a minor aesthetic preference and doesn’t impede any play. It would be cool if I could tap on the widget to reroll last dice roll within the widget, instead of the app reopening, but it all still works really really well - the rest is just style preference. I would highly recommend it :)

### 5/5 — 10/10 app, please add new die!!!

*2025-04-21, version 4.5.4*

This is my favorite dice roller app so far, but I would like to see a new die added, or at least a way to make even more customizable dice. I would like an archimedean die to be added to the app, as it is a d4 with a 1/20 chance to crit from 1 through 4. But I think a better way to do this is to add the ability to add multiple dice in one custom die, or make the option to add a custom script for custom dice.

### 5/5 — Love this dice roller!

*2025-02-14, version 4.5.4*

Appealing, clean interface that’s easy to use and customize. This is my go-to roller for all my games now!

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Quite an app

*2025-01-25*

Small, powerful and infinitely tuneable

### 5/5 — Really good

*2025-01-11, version 4.2.0*

Thanks for making it free, I appreciate the clean interface. Would be fun to add a 3D dice graphic.

### 5/5 — BEST dice app i’ve ever found

*2024-12-08*

it is so smooth and nice to use, with quick and intuitive gestures. I really can’t overstate how good this app is!!

**Developer response:** Thanks for using!

### 5/5 — Gorgeous and useful

*2024-07-29, version 4.2.0*

This is a fabulous app, I just wish it worked better with Apple Watch. You can only add standard dice to your watch complications, no special rolls with modifiers and names you made. There’s also only one size complication, sadly, and I’d love to be able to organize a face with my main rolls on it.

### 5/5 — I love the custom dice!

*2024-03-27, version 4.2.0*

This app is amazing! It's beautiful and easy to use, and the haptic feedback is so fun!

My favorite part about it is the custom dice feature. I've added a few of the most common rolls for my Rogue (various combat checks, perception checks, thieves's tools, etc.) to my Dice Bag. It streamlines the rolling, and the numbers are big enough on the iPad for the DM to be able to see what I rolled from across the table.

The only request I have is that I would love to have more than one Dice Bag. I want to have custom dice for all of my characters! If I did that today I'd have to make like 30 custom dice, which would be hard to keep straight.

Anyways, great job on this!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-01-14*

Reaalyy very nice, beautiful and “hand maded” dice roller!

### 5/5 — Gorgeous and useful

*2023-09-22*

Giving a 5 even though I’m waiting on the update — iOS changes happened so recently ago!
