Everytime I check saved bikes it says I have none even though I’m logged in. It will also freeze if a bike you chose is no longer available, you’ll have to close the app then go into it again. Browser is fine but the app is just unstable. I’ll check my messages on the app and it will say there aren’t any conversations as well. ### 3/5 — App 3-Stars, but 5-Star Service *2024-09-30, version 3.0.64* As a bike owner, I want to be able to do everything from the app, but there are lots of features they make us do through the desktop website. Complete waste of time. ### 1/5 — Buggy app and deceptive pricing. *2025-04-15, version 3.0.64* When I go checkout it keeps asking me for my birthdate. I’m over the minimum age required and it still keeps asking me. I tried on the desktop but decided against it because the insurance prices are insane. The cheapest option was $64 a day for a bike that cost $88 a day to rent. There’s no option to waive the insurance even if you have your own. ### 1/5 — Terrible Support *2025-02-26, version 3.0.64* I got a random text from a number I’ve never interacted with stating “This is Twisted road is your bike available?” When any employee would know it is as it’s listed available and they could just book it, so I teased them for being a scammer. Turns out it wasn’t and they took down my listing after making fun of my name, as if I’d ever trust a random text. Wack professionalism. Do not recommend ### 1/5 — THEY DO NOT PAY AFTER USING YOUR BIKE *2025-02-23* The platform does not support bike owners. I had a rider drive over 120 miles for a one day rental and then they don’t pay out anything. The rider complained because the registration sticker was missing but the bike was fully registered. At least pay out for the use of the bike. ### 1/5 — Buggy app awful support *2024-09-17, version 3.0.64* The app is frustratingly buggy and poorly designed. Getting past that my son and I tried to rent a bike. He was denied due to “not meeting insurance requirements”. No details given. We contact support and were given a run around. Twisted Road is one of the few I keep locked and loaded for those moments when I either need a getaway vehicle or want to try something different. Great for test riding bikes before buying, and even better for those willing to risk letting others ride their bikes for some spending money. My personal experience has be phenomenal. Smooth transaction with the rental, great people both loaning bikes and behind the scenes, and top notch customer support.
