About

Two Porch Lights is a calm, shared place for the two things co-parenting runs on: the calendar and the costs. One subscription covers both parents. Your co-parent joins free from your invite, so you are both looking at the same calendar and the same expense history instead of comparing notes over text. SHARED CALENDAR The parenting schedule, holidays and handoffs in one place both parents can see. Events can repeat, each one shows which kids it is for and who is driving, and either parent can comment right on an event. SPLIT EXPENSES Log an expense, attach a receipt photo or PDF, and the app reads the store, date and amount for you. Each cost splits by your percentages, and each month ends with a balance both parents can sign off on. Mileage for kids' activities is figured at the IRS standard mileage rate for business use and split 50/50. MESSAGES WITH SOFTEN Keep co-parenting logistics in one thread, separate from your personal texts. Every message sent in the app is time-stamped by our server when it is saved, and there is no way to edit, unsend or delete a single message. Imported messages keep the original date from the export file and are labeled as imported. (If a parent deletes their account, the messages they sent are removed from the thread, and if the last member of a shared space deletes their account, the whole space is deleted.) Wrote it heated? Tap Soften for a calmer, child-focused version, and you choose which one sends. KID KITS AND KID INFO A shared checklist for the bag that travels between homes, and one place for sizes, allergies, medications, doctors and school details. YOUR PARENTING PLAN, ON FILE Add your court order or parenting plan as a PDF with selectable text. Setup can fill in the schedule, holidays and cost split from it for you to review, and either parent can ask it a question and get an answer quoted from the plan. It is not legal advice. WIDGETS Whose night it is and the days ahead, on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. Lock Screen widgets never show money. PRIVATE TO YOU Your journal, your Tax Center and the home address you save for mileage are never shown to your co-parent. App Lock keeps the app behind Face ID or Touch ID on your phone. Notifications say what kind of thing changed, never the details. TAX CENTER Track daycare, medical costs and 529 contributions through the year, then build an accountant-ready packet in January. The Tax Center is private to each parent. A parent who joined from an invite gets their own by adding their own subscription. FREE FOR 30 DAYS, PLUS 30 MORE A new shared space is free for 30 days from the day you sign up, with no credit card, and you get 30 more free days when your co-parent joins. After that, Premium is an annual auto-renewing subscription you buy in the app, and one subscription covers the shared space for both parents. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Already use Two Porch Lights on the web? Sign in with the same account and everything is already there. Two Porch Lights helps co-parents communicate and keep organized, time-stamped records. We are not a law firm, and nothing here is legal or financial advice. Whether any record is accepted or given weight in a legal proceeding is up to the court. Follow your attorney's guidance and confirm details against your own court order. What's New in Two Porch Lights

1.0.14

October 2, 2026

Inviting your co-parent is easier: pick them from your contacts and send a link from your own messages. They tap it, make a free account, and they're in, with no code to type. The Invite step now comes right after your children in setup, and Share invite opens your phone's share sheet. Setup now ends with a step to add one real entry, so your space is not empty when you come back. Sign-up shows the password rule and no longer asks for a phone number. The invite links to ready-to-send wording.
