### 3/5 — Twobird

*2026-06-16*

I got no Badges

### 2/5 — Can’t …

*2024-12-07, version 3.2.0*

Can’t delete trashed emails.
Can’t change swipe settings.
Can’t get rid of unwanted priority inboxes.
Can’t delete unless opening every single email and choosing ’delete’ from toolbar.
Can’t create rules.

Note to Devs: ‘Archive isn’t the same as ‘Delete’. Archive adds more stuff that isn’t dealt with right away and hoards space. And opening an email in order to delete it is a waste of time and potentially dangerous if the email is a virus.

‘Delete’ should be the most obvious function (aside from ‘Compose’) included in any email app.

Please don’t sacrifice functionality for shiny features that become useless when one can’t even do the basics.

I hope you get this fixed. It’s been an on-going issue since the app first launched and if it were fixed, twobird would be my go-to app.

### 4/5 — Is this app dead?

*2024-11-09, version 3.2.0*

Is this app dead? No update in over 2 years

### 5/5 — Sowohl als App und Desktop TOP

*2024-09-25*

Für mich die einzige Lösung! Nutze es für die Arbeit, für privates usw. Termine werden getracked, ich kann mich ab mails erinnern lassen usw. Twobird: PLS keep on!! ❤️

### 4/5 — Two bird

*2024-09-10, version 3.2.0*

Could do with a few improvements like connecting more email accounts to the app and it would make things easier

Regards from Frankenstein76

### 4/5 — Molto bella, ma…

*2024-08-13, version 3.2.0*

Mancano alcune funzioni base, tipo quella di svuotare il cestino e la cartella spam…

### 4/5 — To-do is a great way to organise email

*2024-06-17, version 3.2.0*

Our daily lives are all about following routines and achieving milestones for given tasks. The iOS version needs a bit of work each time it loads a chain of messages it feels like it trying to render a very large image apart from this it’s an awesome email client with potential and I also use it on windows now.

### 5/5 — Really Helps

*2024-06-12, version 3.2.0*

This app really helps me to keep organized and I love it. I really like how once you get it set up everything is automated.

### 5/5 — Great personal email client

*2024-05-28, version 3.2.0*

Nifty email client with a great built in notes feature.

### 5/5 — My favorite email app- but no updates:(

*2024-04-28, version 3.2.0*

This is my favorite email app: it’s minimal, doesn’t cut corners, has everything I need (mail, notes, calendar, cutting down on my need for 2 extra apps) and I hope to use it as long as possible.

Sadly this app hasn’t been updated in nearly two years, things are starting to not work (any email chain longer than 50 emails crashes the app), and I’ve contacted the dev team to no avail.

To Ginger Labs: please do not throw Twobird in the bucket, it’s served me far better than any other email app. If you need to make it paid I will happily pay (but please dear goodness do not make it subscription based) or at the very least sell it to a dev team that will update and keep the vision cooking .🔥

### 5/5 — I fell back in love with my email

*2024-04-25, version 3.2.0*

thank you for what your team has created. It’s truly amazing.

### 5/5 — Amazing!!!

*2024-04-23, version 3.2.0*

So simple yet so productive. I love this app and how clean it is with the added elimination of signatures and beautiful design UI. A huge thank you to the developers, please continue to support the app. I would be happy to pay a onetime payment to use it.

### 5/5 — Great

*2024-03-30, version 3.2.0*

Filters email well and helps with focusing on what better

### 5/5 — Closest replacement to Google Inbox I’ve found!

*2024-03-14, version 3.2.0*

I absolutely love this app. I’ve tried every platform I can find in an attempt to replace the gap left by Google’s abandonment of Google Inbox. This app comes incredibly close, blending email, reminders, to-do’s and calendar into a unified interface. I hope it continues to get some love by the developers!

### 5/5 — More than e-mail!!

*2024-02-13, version 3.2.0*

I love this app! It’s email but much more! Also has calendar support! It’s powerful but way less bloated than all e-mail platforms. I know because I’ve tried them all.

### 4/5 — Could be a 5*

*2024-01-28, version 3.2.0*

I have multiple email accounts linked to TwoBird.
The functionality & UX is seamless.
It does EVERYTHING I need it to do.
There are zero ads and minimal interruptions.
My only gripe is that the app will suggest I have 4000+ unread emails but I actually don’t. I open the app, the push notification updates to the correct amount of unread emails across all inboxes, and then clears once they’ve been read. Before reverting back to 4000+ after a few minutes.
For someone who HATES seeing notification icons, this is really annoying. Otherwise it’s the best Mail app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Zero stars - hides vital email

*2024-11-19, version 3.2.0*

My cloud backup account permanently deleted because Twobird hid all the renewal and cancellation notices.

Complete junk.

Also fails to render email from some senders - no text shows.

### 1/5 — Refuses to allow account deletion

*2024-07-14, version 3.2.0*

Have tried to delete the account that I used to test the app, it asks you to enter then email address you signed up with and then tells you that’s the wrong address. Seriously concerned this is a bogus app!

### 1/5 — Nonexistent support

*2024-06-06, version 3.2.0*

Reported multiple issues to developers with no response or resolution for many months. It’s pretty much abandoned and doesn’t work with the latest Google Mail APIs.

### 1/5 — works only with gmail and microsoft

*2024-03-25, version 3.2.0*

if you have a custom business email you cant use this app. its useless to businesses who doesnt use microsoft or google. i really wanted to use this, its a shame.

### 1/5 — Data theft.

*2023-09-26, version 3.2.0*

These chaps don’t have social accounts so make sure you can catch their neck when they steal and sell your data.

These idi*ts can’t let me delete my account.

These bast*ds have no way to provide feedback or requests of things when they are not working.

I am deleting a draft but that keeps coming back. These are not app developers but your personal life stealing g**ns and they must be jailed for this crime.

### 1/5 — Limited access

*2023-09-14, version 3.2.0*

Only works with gmail or Microsoft. We use zoho and we can’t use it.

### 1/5 — Awful customer service

*2023-05-05, version 3.2.0*

I attempted to delete my email from the platform. I kept getting an error message from their customer service. Their customer service has been ignoring my request for weeks and weeks now.

### 1/5 — Solamente cuentas gmail y Microsoft

*2023-03-02, version 3.2.0*

Es una pena porque la aplicación reúne todo lo que necesito menos el poder configurar una cuenta de correo propia.

### 1/5 — Abandoned?

*2023-02-06, version 3.2.0*

Really nice app however there are no new updates

### 1/5 — Emails slide down and disappear

*2022-11-10, version 3.2.0*

Emails slide down and disappear

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A little suggestion

*2025-12-29*

It‘s good in all aspects. I hope there will be a Chinese version.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2025-12-02, version 3.2.0*

I’ve never written a review for an app before, but this has been my go to email client for almost 4 years now. Aesthetically pleasing, cross platform, easy to use. I love how I can access multiple email accounts with just one login. It hasn’t been updated in a while, but I’m just glad the lights are still on!

### 5/5 — Larry TwoBird

*2025-09-05, version 3.2.0*

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-07-04, version 3.2.0*

### 5/5 — Love Love Love - please don’t abandon this

*2025-06-28, version 3.2.0*

Dear wonderful creators of Notability — my other favorite app, I know you have you have your hands full at the moment, but please please consider finding a way in the future when you have capacity to at the very least maintain Twobird. It is exactly the app for email, calendar, and to dos that I have been looking for — I would pay a subscription to use it. Also if you find someone else who wants to take it over, please make sure they don’t mess it up. So very appreciative of all you do. Sincerely, Chaplain Kelly

### 5/5 — The ONLY good mail app that doesn’t make me irritated

*2024-12-19, version 3.2.0*

I’ve tried many of the mail app options out there across my Mac iPhone and iPad, including Canary, Spark and even Superhuman, and I always felt uncomfortable and not at home with those apps. Twobird immediately makes me feel safe inside my email world, not always on the edge about whether I missed an email or replied wrong. This app puts everything in clear view and doesn’t bundle any stupid AI automation as far as I see. It has a very basic “low priority” filter enabled by default so you can get to “those emails” later. Definitely switching to Twobird for now!

### 5/5 — Simple yet functional

*2024-11-29, version 3.2.0*

I just love this so great.

### 5/5 — Well thought out design, cross platform support

*2024-11-20*

Works well and looks good, fewer bugs than others and free.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2024-09-28, version 3.2.0*

The unsubscribe function is great!!
