## What is TwoRetire?

Retirement isn't a solo project — so why plan it alone?

TwoRetire is a retirement planning app built for couples. Instead of two separate spreadsheets or two different apps, you and your spouse see one shared plan — with each of you controlling exactly how much of your own accounts the other can see.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Track every retirement account — 401(k), Traditional/Roth IRA, taxable brokerage, HSA, and more — with your choice of full detail, totals only, or fully private per account.

• Model your retirement timeline — drag a slider to see how retiring at 60 vs. 65 changes your household's net worth curve, decades into the future.

• Compare withdrawal strategies — see the difference between a traditional withdrawal order and a strategy that fills your tax bracket, side by side.

• Coordinate Social Security — a 3×3 claiming-age matrix for you and your spouse, break-even analysis, and survivor benefit planning.

• Get an honest signal — a simple green/yellow/red indicator based on your actual projected shortfall, not a vague "you're on track" message.

• Save and compare scenarios — "What if I retire at 62 instead of 65?" Save it, compare it against your baseline, and decide together.

• Log the decisions that matter — freeze a scenario's assumptions when you make a real decision, so you can look back later and remember why.

BUILT FOR TWO, PRIVATELY

When you invite your spouse, you choose per account whether they see full details, just the total balance, or nothing at all. Nothing is shared until you explicitly turn it on — and visibility only ever gets more open, never less, so you always know exactly what's been seen.

Your data lives in your own iCloud account. TwoRetire has no servers of its own — nothing is collected, nothing is sold, nothing is shared with third parties. Even shared data between spouses syncs directly through Apple's infrastructure, never through us.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT DOES (AND DOESN'T DO)

TwoRetire uses a straightforward, deterministic projection based on the assumptions you set — not Monte Carlo simulation, not a black box. Every number is explained in plain language, and a built-in FAQ walks through exactly what's calculated, what isn't (like state taxes), and why.
