Looked online; there is a posted question to this effect, and no given answer. You cannot progress further without equipping the damned car, so you have a brick wall in game that should be fixed/clarified IN GAME ASAP! Would also appreciate the ability to tell game I am on vacation so as not to be locked out because I forget my password, and a recovery option that DOES NOT involve texting my phone while asking for the OLD passcode you know if I tap FORGOT MY PASSCODE; I don’t recall. As well, there needs to be a) an option to buy VIP status without real money, use thousands of diamonds for 100 VIP points, and I won’t care… it’s still attainable in game with diligence. Also, there needs to be a VIABLE way to earn nightgowns (your drop rates for the diamond cost IS NOT worth the gamble) and a viable means to earn puzzle pieces that AREN’t just purple & orange. Red pieces for the red characters will be necessary to progress them. Also Lilly NEEDS to have SOME way OTHER than “friendship” points (not all of us want friends in game genius’) to earn her base version. I managed to get a red version before I got locked out as stated above, by earning enough event points, but it’s NOT her base version, and shouldn’t have unlocked her as a lover. It took forever too, and most players will give her up for unattainable. The answer is: in the character screen on any gang member, go to the square for the item you want to equip; then there will be a “Gear” button on the car or gun screen when selected. Tap gear, and it will be equipped to whichever character you’ve selected. You now have equipped and powered up your gang member. Seriously, it’s clear they spent most of their time on jiggle-psychics than actual gameplay.
