This allows me to do a deep dive into God’s Word. I have “Life Application”, “NIV Study Bibles” and Strong’s Concordance w/NASB. Now it seems to have improved and it functions great. I added the Matthew Henry Bible commentary and have both Living and New Living translations at my fingertips. Thank you. I saw some previous comments that it doesn’t save your place which I noticed as well. If you pause it, it will have the option to resume but if you just close the app then come back it could not save but I guess that’s cause I closed the app. Overall it’s well worth it and you can easily select your chapter to play again. ### 5/5 — The audio NLT bible is especially good! *2020-09-10, version 7.15.4* The audio version of the NLT bible is NOT a person with a monotone voice reading into a radio shack mic. Not at all! It is world class actors reading with drama and intrigue in their voice. Sound effects galore like wood crackling in a fireplace, Roman soldiers with horses, shepherds with sheep, angry mobs grumbling immerse you into a world of adventure as Jesus tries to spread the good news while encountering resistance. This is the most captivating audio bible ever! This company allows you to listen to the book of “John” for free!! How great is that! I purchased the app ($25) and use it daily. ### 5/5 — MY QUICK GO-TO GREAT BIBLE APP! *2020-04-24, version 7.15.4* This is my fastest Bible app by far; powerful search as well. I have bought about two dozen Bibles and study apps in it very reasonable priced. It's the one I go to more often. One reason also is they have many FREE high quality audio Bibles to read to you. The KJV audio is excellent! Some good price premium audio Bibles too but the app will read to you on any others just using the iPhone system voice, works good! Thank You! I give tech support all the steps I’ve done over email. Tech support response was to repeat the steps I’ve done already. There was nothing wrong with the other app, now I have one more thing on my plate to deal with ### 1/5 — Totally inaccessible for voice over users *2018-12-04, version 7.14.7* Totally inaccessible for blind users. A blind user will do much better with the word of promise app. If the developer of this app cares about making this app accessible they should look at how the word of promise is designed and use that app as a way to make this app accessible. ### 1/5 — NOT Impressed!! *2018-09-11, version 7.13.2* I am a BIG Life Application Study Bible fan and have used the digital app in the New American Standard Version for years. I was disappointed to open my app and learn that it was discontinued and had been replaced by this new app. So far, I can’t figure out how to have a dedicated screen in NAS version. Accessing the resources and footnotes for Life Application Bible is cumbersome at best. In the old app I loved having the footnotes on the split screen simultaneously with their corresponding scriptures. Also, I don’t see where/how to flip back and forth between verses. A task that was so easy using the history tab in the old app. From my perspective you’ve taken an amazing product and made a mess of it!! So disappointing!! ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2019-09-24* I was very disappointed with this application. If you want to listen to bible offline you have to download one chapter at a time. It took about an hour to download the book of John. Then when I wanted to go to a different book there was no way that I could see of getting to it. I tried the search bar and when I typed in 1john which is what I wanted to down load it came up with no results. So many other features would have been nice to have but it was quite costly. I’m sorry but this app needs some work. It’s really not free and near impossible to navigate ### 5/5 — Heavenly value *2025-01-10* Gave my hard copy life application away to a friend who just found Christ. It was my favorite Bible. This digital copy is a blessing. Being able to do split screen to compare translations and lock scroll so they stay in sync with each other and the study is a blessing. A big plus to having the multiple translations available is the prices are great! Many thanks! It makes it handy then just in church or bible study. Since downloading I have not needed to contact their support department. Never experienced any problems with the app itself. So when i tried to resolve an issue syncing all my devices. Signing in to my account after forgetting to change to my new email address with them. I emailed and explained the situation they resolved that issue very quickly and without much trouble at all by the agent Richelle. I especially like the notes that can be added to each verse as I read it, I use this to capture my thoughts on the verse as read, and often get a reminder when I reread that verse. This has helped me read through the New Testament 6 times since I bought it last August. Olive tree bible does, but alot of the stuff I already bought on Tyndale I have to but again on Olive tree. I really wish they would consider getting a app for mac.
