I immediately found out about this transaction because I have alerts set up on my phone for when my card is charged. For the first time ever I received a text message from Typology AFTER the subscription was renewed. No text was sent out prior to warning that the subscription would auto renew, nor was their an option to cancel the renewal via text. Additionally, Typology receipt shows that Apple Pay was used to purchase the subscription, however that subscription never showed up in my Apple Pay. Due to the lack of information, the hidden auto-renewal subscription charge is predatory greed. I question the business practices of Typology, and I find it even more frustrating that I cannot leave a 1-star review to warn others about the discreet auto-renewal predatory subscription. I have deleted my saved information on the site such as my card and address. I deserve a refund as do the others who have been a victim to Typology’s greed. I do not trust Typology and I hope Typology changes its user experience to be a better for the consumer. ### 1/5 — Horrible customer service *2025-09-05* Frustrating Experience with This Company I had high hopes for this makeup company, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. I used their online process to find the right shades for their tinted moisturizer and concealer, but when the products arrived, they were way too dark for my complexion. Unfortunately, I was traveling and couldn’t try them right away. When I finally reached out to inquire about their return policy, I was shocked to learn that they do not allow exchanges, even though I had the products for just three weeks. It’s hard to understand how an online makeup store doesn't offer testers or free exchanges—especially when there are plenty of other retailers that do! It feels limiting and frustrating when you want to experiment and find the right match. I also tried their green corrector for my minimal redness, but it didn’t help at all. Once again, I was unable to return this product either. Now I’m left with three items that I’ll never use, having spent over $120—a complete waste! Overall, this has been a horrible experience, and I cannot recommend this company. There are so many other online makeup stores that offer much better try-before-you-buy options. It’s lip treatment. I haven’t tried any of the other products.
