Minor Update Adventure Worlds, Sensory-First Design & Keyboard Support TypoQuest just got its biggest update yet, with a focus on making the game more immersive, more accessible, and more useful for learners who are ready to practice on a real keyboard. Immersive Adventure Worlds: Jungle, Space, Ocean, and Sunset now come to life with multi-layered parallax backgrounds, particle effects, and a dynamic Focus Shield that keeps text crystal-clear no matter which world you're exploring. Sensory-First Accessibility: New toggles for Haptic Feedback and Reduced Motion make TypoQuest a comfortable experience for neurodiverse children. Static Mode removes all animations entirely for kids who need a calmer, distraction-free environment. These features are free for every player. Sensory Onboarding: On first launch, parents can now set Sound, Haptics, and Motion preferences before their child plays a single word — so the game feels right from minute one. Keyboard Support: TypoQuest now works beautifully with any Bluetooth or USB keyboard on Mac, turning it into a proper desktop typing tutor alongside the touchscreen experience. QWERTY, Dvorak, and Colemak layouts are all supported. Montessori Phonics Mode: A new pronunciation style that teaches individual letter sounds with AI-generated phonetic breakdowns. Words now display full phonetic notation (e.g. /k/ · /oʊ/ · /l/ · /d/) in the Dictionary Modal, making TypoQuest a powerful early reading companion. Multilingual Support (Beta): Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese translations are now live across settings and controls. Plus: general UI polish, stability improvements, faster performance, and fixes to Parental Controls layout and the Dictionary on Apple Intelligence devices.
