But for some reason my lightbulb sometimes starts to flicker rapidly and I cannot turn it off or off, and it then goes offline, I do not know if it died or malfunctioned but it was really annoying and could’ve caused a danger to people with epilepsy as it couldn’t be controlled for you had to manually unscrew the lightbulb out. It is currently still not working so I’m trying to figure out what happened or how to fix it. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t reset *2026-04-25, version 1.1.1* The only thing the app does right is the cleaning area, cleaning time and residual energy the map of thus cleaning from a year ago never resets itself. It just has the same area cleaned and never starts a new map of the cleaning being done. I have logged out and everything and that doesn’t work either and there is no way to delete the map. I’ve even cleared the cachet. Nothing works. Not even removing and re-downloading the app. ### 4/5 — Good but… *2026-04-08, version 1.1.1* It’s nice, I got two lights hooked to this but I wish they had a dark mode for this app instead of the blaring white. Other than that it does its job! ### 3/5 — Alexa integration tips for lights *2024-10-24* This app has a lot of nice functionality but can be very confusing to set up due to the variety of places settings for devices/networks/groups live in the app. I’m going to focus this “review” on Alexa integration tips for lights as this seems to be a common issue and many people complain that it appears to not work at all (but does with the right setup). First, I’m using this app with an “Aurora” branded light bar, light strip, and bulb. It appears there are many generic brands that are the same and use Tzumi Smarthome. After adding the devices and linking to Alexa through the Tzumi Smarthome Alexa “Skill”, the light bar and strip are not controllable through Alexa commands without further work. To make these functional, in the Smarthome app you need to add custom scenes for individual lights or light groups. Then you need to set up automation. From the automation tab, click “add schedule” then “Lauch Tap Tap To Run”. Add task “control single device”. Pick the device or group and action or scene. Now give that scene a name - for example “Nightlight”. This scene will be added to Alexa. Now you can say “Alexa turn on Nightlight”. If you add another scene for “All Off” you would say “Alexa turn on All Off”. So for every command you want to be able to say to Alexa you need to set up an individual “tap to run automation”. Note that these automations can also be added to Siri and as shortcut buttons on your phone. ### 1/5 — Cannot add vacuum *2024-08-21, version 1.0.9* The app updated and I got logged out. I can’t get logged in and can’t control my vacuum now. I can’t get it to work. ### 1/5 — Bad doesn’t connect to my device. *2024-08-01, version 1.0.9* I tried for a half and hour to get the lightbulbs for this to work. Every single time it’s would take around 2 minutes to download the bulb and every time, said there was an issue. I get on it at least ten times and it still isnt reading anything other than weight! I actually cried because I spent like 21 dollars on this just for it to not work. Im going to return it if it doesn’t work soon. ### 1/5 — Not as advertised *2026-06-05, version 1.1.1* The app will reset all your progress and I bought the smart scale, which should give you all your body comp data. I’m 6ft and it says i should weigh 138 lbs. That is disgustingly low. I would look sick if i aimed to weigh that. This scale would definitely screw with people with body image issues and it claiming they were overweight or should lose weight to hit some low number that they are recommending. Very outdated and would not recommend using any features minus the weight feature ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2026-03-10, version 1.1.1* Bought the FitRX scale, and even though it says my device is connected, it doesn’t actually work with the scale. Even if it’s not equipped with some sort of magnetometer it should be able to meter back out where it probably is, or else what point is the ‘Manual’ mode for if it gets stuck and you actually understand what it’s likely stuck on? Furthermore, whenever it’s in the middle of cleaning and I want it to return to its dock instead of continuing… its position stops updating on the map, so I have no clue what it’s doing, and have to watch helplessly as, for all I know, it’s running around randomly, even though it SUPPOSEDLY knows where it started from (spoiler alert: AT THE DOCK) and runs it’s battery all the way down, instead of using what it knows to get home. ### 1/5 — Bad don’t buy *2025-10-27, version 1.1.1* The lights WILL NOT WORK don’t buy the lights.Will not pair and won’t connect to the internet.Customer service will not work. ### 1/5 — Honestly annoying to deal with. *2025-09-12, version 1.1.1* I am always having to reconnect them every few days for no apparent reason. And when I try to connect them, they just refuse to. It takes me multiple attempts to get the lightbulbs to stop flashing and actually connect properly.
