## What is U Chat?

U Chat: Universe Pro Connect is the official communication app built for the Universe Pro community.

Unlike general chat apps, U Chat is designed around a trusted community environment where members can connect, communicate, and manage relationships with better control, privacy, and group management tools.

The app brings together private messaging, contact approval, community groups, voice and video calls, and profile management in one simple and secure experience.

Community-first communication
U Chat is built for Universe Pro members, not random public chatting. It helps members stay connected inside a more focused and trusted community space.

Contact approval and privacy control
Users can manage who they connect with. Contacts can be added, approved, blocked, reported, muted, pinned, or removed. To improve privacy, users are searchable by system UID instead of open public discovery.

Powerful group management
Create and manage groups for community communication. Group owners and admins can update group profiles, invite members, approve access, scan QR codes to join, assign admins, transfer ownership, make announcements, pin important notices, mute members, and manage group activity.

Voice and video calls
Stay connected through 1-to-1 and group voice or video calls. U Chat also supports call notifications, lock screen call answering, and call history for a smoother communication experience.

Flexible messaging
Send text, voice, image, file, and video messages. Users can reply to messages, recall messages, and edit messages when needed.

Local encrypted message storage
Messages are stored locally and encrypted to help protect user privacy and provide a safer communication experience.

Profile and account control
Users can update their avatar, edit their nickname, view their system UID, manage settings, and delete their account when needed.
