## What is U?

U-Control is the new Bft app which allows you to control one or more “Ultra” category automation systems equipped with the B-Eba Wi-Fi expansion card.

Via an Internet connection, you can open/close/stop the automation directly from their smartphone or tablet, reading the status (open/closed or opening position) in real time, wherever you are.

To open the gate, you will no longer need to carry a remote control with you, simply use your smartphone, which is always close to hand!
Wherever you are, it will therefore be possible to control the gate, for example letting the gardener in to look after the lawn while you’re on holiday.

With the GPS function, you can automatically open the automations whenever you approach, by setting the desired proximity distance on your smartphone. This function is extremely useful, as it means that you will find the gate already open when you arrive, without having to wait for it to open. Motorcyclists in particular will love this, above all when it's raining!

By setting the scenarios, you can also open or close all the automations in the home at a simple click. When you leave home, for example, you can close all the entrances, including non-Bft products, via a connection to the Clonix card the B-Eba Wi-Fi is installed on.

Special attention has also been paid to easily sharing the functions with other users. Once you have installed and configured the application and the B-Eba Wi-Fi, you can authorise other users to control the automations, simply by sharing a unequivocal, self-installing link with them. The operation is completed in just a few clicks, without having to configure any new technical parameters! Where required, the Administrator can instantly revoke the access authorisations granted to “guest” users with a simple click.

Cyber security is guaranteed by an authentication server on the Cloud protecting all B-Eba Wi-Fi cards, making them invisible and inviolable from the Internet.

For correct operation, the B-Eba Wi-Fi card must be covered by the home Wi-Fi network with access to the Internet. Where required, a range extender, widely available on the market, can be used.

App just stops working for no reason at all. Logs you out and doesn’t function properly to “reset” password. Honestly wish I could give less than 1 star review. Wish I could use different app but can’t. Update: APP JUST DECIDES IT DOESNT WANT TO WORK ANYMORE. FIX YOUR DAMN PRODUCT

NB! The recent version introduce a security issue  - despite that application show “command not executed” gates could open later after 15-60 minutines by itselt. It seems to be command TTL issue.

App is ok….. when it works, which is very infrequent! Constant lottery if it will operate when you want and that’s before it reaches Christmas time when it logs you out every time you exit the app. I do not recommend!

Di punto in bianco l’app ha smesso di funzionare, difficoltà costante ad entrare nell’applicazione… I dati di accesso non restano memorizzati e bisogna compilare manualmente con id e password ed in più gli automatismi risultano all’interno dell’applicazione ma spesso risultano offline e quindi lo smartphone resta scollegato dagli automatismi registrati senza poterli utilizzare… App da migliorare

Die App ist so etwas von unzuverlässig und schlecht gemacht. Kein Verbindung mal geht’s mal geht es nicht.

Recently the app has not worked way more that it has. Sometimes I can’t log in, and often receive error message “command not executed” despite the gate controller being online and strong WiFi signal.

Highly frustrating.

We’ve had this installed for approx 2 years with our BFT gate.  It is intermittent at best - approx 40% of the time it works.  Often get messages ‘command not executed’ - then after multiple refreshes, it occasionally works.  We have excellent WIFI at the gate.  Today - we have all been logged out of the app.  We are unable to reset passwords, unable to log in - so as we only have 2 remotes and a family of 5 - we aren’t able to use our gate at all. No ability to contact support (only sales).  Useless.
