## What is U Lost Me?

U Lost Me gives you a way to tell brands the truth: when they have lost you, and why.

Scan a product's barcode and flag it with the reason it no longer has your trust. Your signal is anonymous, and it joins others so the pattern becomes visible instead of disappearing at the checkout.

Before you agree to anything, decode it. Paste or fetch a Terms & Conditions or Terms of Use document and U Lost Me turns the fine print into plain language, so you know what you are actually signing up for.

Everything you flag and decode is kept in your own private ledger.

Private by design:
- No account. No email. No name.
- Your identity is an anonymous key held on your device.
- No advertising, no analytics, no third-party trackers. We never sell your data.
- The camera is used only to read a barcode on your device. Images are never stored or sent.

U Lost Me is built by SeedTree Earth for people who want their choices to count.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.3 — 2026-10-20

The receipt now links to ulostme.app, the new home of U Lost Me.

### 1.5.2 — 2026-10-12

U Lost Me is the new name for Lost Me. Same app, with the new envelope icon.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-10-07

Post to social: take a photo, drop your reason stickers on it, and share it straight to Instagram, TikTok, X or Messages. T's & C's in U now has the Sniper Award: nominate the worst clause you find, vote on other people's finds, and see which companies changed their terms in Community Wins. Search a company to open its decoded terms with the date they were last checked. YOU LOST ME. AT THE FINE PRINT. sends your objections to the company's count.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-10-03

The scanner reopens cleanly every time, and lookups now check the SeedTree catalogue plus Open Food, Beauty and Products Facts and UPCitemdb before giving up. A missed scan offers SCAN AGAIN, SEARCH INSTEAD or ADD THIS PRODUCT. Reasons now match the product, food and drink included, and you can write your own, up to three. Say whether you didn't buy it or bought it and won't again. SEND IT stays at the bottom and tells you what it needs. The decoder reads links properly, shares as an image with a caption, and lets you object to clauses and send a counter-contract. New Settings page: notifications, terms, privacy and your data. Signing out or revoking consent now asks first, and points you to deleting your account if you want your flags gone.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-07

The receipt is the app now. The bottom bar is gone and every screen prints as part of the one receipt. Reasons appear as line items on the receipt instead of a popup, and when you write your own it prints there too. Agreeing is just the fine print: the terms, the button, and the decoder, with nothing else in the way. After you send, SCAN ANOTHER and POST TO SOCIAL are right there. The T's and C's and U decoder is rebuilt with a hostility score, the worst clauses first, and plain English under every one.
