Requested campus police, waited for 2 hours for nothing. Waste of time

As a mother of an incoming university student, this app really failed me on first download. My daughter said their college at U of T was promoting this app but it doesn’t even seem like she can contact me with this app and contact campus police as well.

Then I looked at other universities’ apps. Why do they all look the same as this one? Doesn’t my daughter have different needs than someone in University of Florida or at Queen’s?

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback!  We're always looking to improve the app, and your suggestion of simultaneous contact to both police and parents is a great suggestion.  I'll bring this up with our development team to see if we can enhance the app to add this capability in the future. 
 
Regarding your concerns about the app looking the same as others... It's true that we share much of the same technology as several hundred other institutions around the globe through our App vendor.  That said, all the resources are configured for users at each institution.  So the U of T app will connect with local U of T resources.
