You receive notifications the next day vs real time as before. You literally can no longer manage your distributions until after the money is deposited. It seems like every functionality that made the other system great is now something that you literally have to go into the actual facility to request a teller or staff member to do for you. It’s 2022 and I can do LESS banking processes online today than I could with the old system, and sadly the people that work there know it and can’t offer any explanation for it! It’s very disappointing and we ponder if it’s better to move to another FCU? My money has been here since I was a child, and I even have an acct for my grandson, but it may be time to move it all. Do better folks. ### 3/5 — Long distance banking *2019-03-11, version 18.3.70* I do love the online services. Although I have a difficult time depositing into my account. (This is the only institution I have this issue with.) I have actually been denied twice a deposit. This has been my only option, as I live out of state(Texas). Sadly someone in or out of the system has ruined it for others. This app has a welcomed modern look and feel to it. However you still can not look at pending transactions. In order to do this you still need to log into the website directly. Need fixes and updates. ### 1/5 — USOS FCU MAJOR SECURITY ISSUE *2025-02-01, version 24.2.50* 2 Factor authentication is not working in the USPS FCU app on iPhone 14. When you log in to your account it immediately bypasses the 2 factor authentication. This is a major security issue! Uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn’t solve the problem. Rebooting the phone doesn’t solve the problem. ### 1/5 — New Update 2021 *2021-08-05, version 21.1.41* New update doesn’t allow users to login anymore not even on the website!! We can’t access our accounts or balances. This is unacceptable!! Not all of us live near actual branch locations to walk into so we have to rely on the mobile app or website and neither have worked for almost a week!! And the employees can’t give us an update on when this issue will be fixed when we call the customer service number!! ### 1/5 — Outdated and useless *2019-10-06, version 19.1.200* No face recognition or fingerprint access. Many bugs including not being able to see your scheduled bill payments. No notifications from the app. ### 1/5 — Savings *2019-05-15, version 18.3.70* I have been with Andrews Federal Credit Union for more than 5-7 years, and when I joined USPS Federal Credit Union a month ago, I was so thrill and happy to be with another Credit Union entity that offer money when you make multiple referrals to family and friends. I had referred 2-3 of my friends & family, and made over $50 just by referring people to joined USPS CREDIT UNION. I think banks should make the same offer, and have a second chance program to offer individuals more money. Thank you-C. It would be nice to have a running balance after each transaction posts to the account. It's great if you only want to check your balance, see transactions, and make a basic transfer. The feature of e-deposit is not even an option, which is the only reason I downloaded the app. USPSFCU does not make banking convenient at all. ### 2/5 — Basic! *2020-01-23, version 19.3.20* Very basic financial institution app. I’ve been a member for over 20 years. See your balances, make a deposit or transfer, and make payments. Many shortcoming compared to other financial institution apps that I use, including other credit unions and banks. App doesn’t even give you due dates for loans. Password access only. Enter wrong password 3 times and app is locked. There is no option to change that or change your password via the app. I guess facial or fingerprint recognition is not secure enough for the credit union Mgmt or it cost to much to implement. App updates talk about security updates but I see no changes. Having the app makes up for some limitations. I am glad USPSFCU forged banking relationships with local credit unions for cash withdrawals and face-to-face transactions. I do wish the app would program notifications like Zelle and identify the specific $dollar amount of an Debit or Credit transaction rather than just saying “a Debit transaction greater than amount: Your account (xxxxxxxx) had one or more debit transactions exceed $1. Now, the notification Rule only allows users to set a default $ amount to exceed to get a notification. In the prior legacy system rather option was available. ### 5/5 — Uspsfcu *2022-05-16, version 21.3.40* I’ve been working for the USPS For 33 years. I joined the credit union shortly after I started. I’ve been nothing but unhappy with the service. When you made some new changes to the establishment, I was unable to log on. I called for days. I left a message and no one called me back. It’s been months and I still haven’t received a return call.
