The list of actions is to the side allowing you to easily go from one action to the next. The website is almost always available : 24/7. When the Bank has to update, etc. we are given lots of time to do our banking prior to the update; and, they even let you know when everything will be back up and running. If ever you’re lost, just call (visit your branch if you live nearb) the bank and they will help you through your muddle. I’ve called Numerous times and have the highest respect for the people who specialize in helping me and others with our questions - some admittedly inane. Yet the associates are always positive and personable. To summarize: the Union Bank app is well-conceived and easy to use. And the people at the Bank excel at finding the root of my problems and then teaching me what to do, and also alternative ways of dealing with the problem. The mobile deposit option seldom works the first time and often never works despite multiple app restarts. The app takes the account to be deposited to and the amount and then the pictures of the front and back of the check and then goes to a processing screen that usually goes on for many minutes with no end result and seldom completes quickly with an accepted deposit. The other error in the latest version is a totally blue screen that never goes away. It is frustrating to do all the work of entering everything and taking the pictures with no result. ### 1/5 — Woeful app & poor customer service *2018-11-25, version 5.0.5305* Union Bank - please listen when you get feedback regarding this app. Rather than try to convince me that I’m the only person who thinks it’s slow, buggy, poor user interface, server timeouts, poor fingerprint ID...there are other issues too. This app needs a update or a restart. Worse banking app. EVER! ### 2/5 — Terrible mobile deposit *2025-09-11, version 6.0.250600* Generally a fine banking app but the worst mobile deposit function I’ve used . Front side works fine but app regularly fails to register “mobile deposit only” even though I use a stamp with those exact words. Frequently have to try retaking photo several times before finally recognizes the words. Also sometimes doesn’t recognize that signature is on back. As a small business who has to deposit multiple checks at once, this is a huge pain. I’ve reached out directly to bank about this but got no response. Please fix this. Have not had this problem with any other bank app ### 2/5 — Deposit Using Camera *2025-08-17, version 6.0.5905* Depositing checks using the camera is finicky at best. The camera starts in the opposite orientation of your phone, even with orientation lock enabled.
