## What is UBA Secure Pass?

The Secure Pass (formerly known as U-Token) is UBA's customized version of the mobile token, for use in authorizing transactions and identity management on all of UBA's virtual channels, from the Internet Banking solution (previously known as U-Direct), to the Mobile Banking solution (previously known as U-Mobile), and eventually all other channels which require authorization of transactions of higher limits using the token.

It was also developed in line with the do it yourself model, which enables an existing user of the bank's Internet banking solution, to self activate the token without having to walk into a UBA banking hall.

It a shame for uba not to have a well operating app. Money was mistaking sent to my uba account,I recieved alert for sms,nw I download the bank app,money didn’t show,I try downing another it asking for security code,I download secure pass app.
It doesn’t work.

I download the app to use on the new UBA mobile app(apparently also trash) and in try to get the secure pass, it keeps saying I’m not eligible for it? Fire whoever thought of this or ask first bank for help.

The entire development team should be fired. There seems to be a huge disconnect between the intention of the bank and user experience. I would recommend that UBA simply buys one of the on the shelf e-token apps out there. 

I don’t understand why UBA will disable my ability to make large transactions without prior notice and then ask me to download a non-functional app for secure token. What was wrong with password + pin + email/sms otp?

This is an awful app and it’s surprising because zenith easily does this and it’s much better to get a token online with them. Uba is piss poor, it also keeps saying “I’m sorry but there isn’t a way of authenticating you at the current time”. Disappointing

This app doesn’t work. I tried to set it up but it failed to recognize my used ID even after I was assured at a UBA customer service bank branch that it would work. This is so disappointing.

This app should not be downloadable. You will take your time and download the app, then it will ask for your username and country, and then it’ll tell you that you’re not allowed to get a token. Please don’t waste your time or data downloading this useless app. Apple store, please ban this useless app!!!
