The driver however didn't drop us on our drop off location but a block away. It's very frustrating coz I paid for a service for our convenience and safety. However the driver puts us at risk. Since we have to walk and cross traffic. The APP support is manage only by AI and it's siding with the driver and the human support is also the same. I completed every single delivery, but their app is a mess: while you're driving, requests come in automatically and it's nearly impossible to use it safely. One day the app showed I had an order in my car when I had nothing — clearly an app glitch. I called support and nobody takes responsibility: no evidence, no explanation, no chance to defend myself. Just "permanently blocked." And today the supervisor treated me terribly, even suggesting I might have a criminal record, calling me fraudulent in a demeaning way — without verifying anything. I've been calling for two years asking for an explanation. This is how Uber treats the drivers who do their deliveries. When I finally got through, I was told I could not cancel my order because it took too long to speak to an agent…facepalm.jpg ### 1/5 — No option to disable reservations *2026-09-19, version 3.739.10000* There’s no way to disable the reservation system inside your application and as a result I get dozens of reservation requests that I have to choose to dismiss. This is a huge pain. I called your support. There’s no way to disable this option. How stupid. The reservation ride system is a stupid option that locks you into times that reduce the amount of rides you get. You requiring us to upload our ID, then scan our face after years of loyalty is absurd. I have now switched to LYFT and will not be back. Such a big data grab and highly invasive. Zero phone or chat support. It’s impossible to chat with a real person at Uber… even ChatGPT and Claude both couldn’t identify a way for me to contact a real person. It’s impossible. Price gouging too.
