Securely manage your personal finances on the go and see all of your accounts with UBL UK in one place:

Now available for new customers to sign apply on mobile for Ameen Islamic Accounts, Conventional Banking Account and new UBL UK NetRemit registrations. Existing account holders may also apply for additional products and services via the app. 

The new Mobile Banking App compliments the enhanced Internet Banking portal. The login details you set on the Mobile App can then be used to sign into Internet Banking. If you have already registered for Internet Banking, the login information you set will be applied to Mobile Banking, but you will still need to register on the first time you download the app, or if you add a new devices in future.

I’m not sure what UBL were thinking when building this app, the UX is confusing, there are random animations that just make it feel unresponsive, it randomly swaps between native and an embedded web view with seemingly no thought to how it would feel. I’m fairly certain this app manages to violate every design principle somewhere. I’d rather have the 2008 online banking experience than this half baked app.

The app is the worst I’ve used for ages. Slow, poorly designed & full of glitches. I opened a bond and when I got to the paying interest there’s was no way of changing from at maturity to monthly. When I got to the next page it had set the method. So I went back and the drop down arrow was actually at bottom of the page! I changed it and ended up having two accounts. But only one is showing! They’ve promised to resolve it but at the moment it was a week ago. The Secure message says answering in three days, which isn’t true…

I phoned UBL today as I am trying to open a new ISA account but the app is saying “oops something is wrong” and to contact customer support. Which I did. I tried talking to customer support on option2. When I tried taking the lady through the path to open the account and where the error was, she didn’t listen to my problem and subsequently she put the phone down. I will now put my money into a different bank.

Worst app ever made and the website is the same, it looks like a child put it together and the customer service is shocking!!!

This bank is the worst bank I have ever seen please if you really want your money not stolen then don’t open account with this bank. I have been saving money with them for months and suddenly they blocked my account £14000 and when you call them, they will say is internal investigation so they can’t do anything about it. My account has been blocked for 4 months and I was broke this Christmas. I advise anyone to open high street bank rather than this scam of a bank and I will take this matter further they will surely pay for damages.

I wrote to ubl uk email and asked them why app is not working and directed to Pakistan UBL team. After using it for three years and now not able to use this application is a shame.
