This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional e-commerce experiences I’ve ever had. I placed an order containing multiple items. Ubuy contacted me to say one specific item (a ring light) was going to be severely delayed. I requested to cancel only that delayed item so the rest of my order could proceed. Unbelievably, they told me I had to pay a $12 USD cancellation fee because the item had supposedly "left the seller's warehouse"—even though the delay was entirely their fault. Reluctantly, I agreed to absorb their $12 fee just to keep the rest of my unaffected order moving. What did their customer service team do? They showed zero reading comprehension, completely ignored my instructions, and cancelled my ENTIRE order, including the items that had absolutely no issues. Because of their own supply chain delays and the utter incompetence of their support staff, I was penalized $12 and received absolutely nothing in return. I essentially paid them to waste my time. Save yourself the headache, the hidden fees, and your money. Avoid Ubuy at all costs. **UPDATE (April 21, 2026):** Shortly after posting my initial review, I was contacted directly by Ubuy's Senior Online Reputation Management. They sincerely apologized, took full responsibility for the miscommunication from their support agent, and promptly refunded the unfair $12 cancellation fee. I appreciate that their management team monitors feedback and genuinely steps in to make things right for their customers. Constant tracking updates and items are reasonably priced. ### 2/5 — Buggy app and a rip off *2026-01-30, version 9.9.3* Sometimes it feels like that it’s the last option to get items from overseas, but just don’t do it. The application is extremely bad customer support is bad. All sorts of hidden fees. I needed a particular computer part and it ended up costing me about five times as much. Second purchase of the same item “defective”. All 20+ of the items visually & physically defective. Items should be inspected prior to shipping to customer. The issue would have been addressed internally between supplier and Ubuy. Instead, I a previously happy customer is now playing email tag ( arguing) with customer support. And they are telling me there is nothing they can do. Absolutely, unacceptable! I buy quite a few items from online retailers, and when you first open the app, it immediately asks for your location.
