But - it hasn’t been updated in over two years an now, frequently crashes and disconnects on iOS11. I'm using it with Sharx cameras. It constantly crashes...sometimes it takes up to 7 attempts to open and view a camera...and even then it sometimes crashes while viewing camera. Support is responsive by email...but support suggestion of delete app-reboot iPhone - reinstall didn't help for more than a day. I went with app recommended by Sharx (Mobilinc Cam Viewer)... It was more expensive but it is very stable,no need for multi view add on, and it is more intuitive....so it's not my iPhone it's this app that has problems. ### 4/5 — Works fine with Foscam & even Polaroid *2015-11-07, version 3.1.1* I had trouble with this app initially, but now it's working great. Even with a Polaroid cam - ironically using Foscam "common" setting also. Really nice compared to using several apps to view several cameras at once. There's even a feature where it switches automatically from cam to cam on a rotation. And it works on my iPad2 even though it's called "iPhone only" ### 5/5 — Great App & Support *2015-11-05, version 3.1.1* A friend suggested that I try this application to accommodate the various camera models that I have acquired. I was impressed with the long list of supported camera models. Several months ago I easily configured all my existing cameras on my iPad and transferred to my iPhone via an email attached CID file. They all worked as expected. However, I recently purchased an inexpensive Apexis camera specifically for the GPIO capability that was not supported by the uCamPro application for this model. Late yesterday, I contacted uCamPro application support with a request to enable this feature. Early this morning, I received a reply with reload instructions. They enabled this GPIO feature and it works as expected. This was the fastest report to fix duration that I have ever experienced from any software support team. I am still very impressed! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Rip off *2023-01-31, version 3.1.1* I downloaded this piece of crap and paid for the app. After getting it on my phone it needed access to my photos…then it just went blank and closed. I continued trying to open it and there was no change. This app is a hack! ### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Support *2021-09-23, version 3.1.1* I had issues with configuring several of my cameras (which work fine in other apps). I contacted customer support several times and got no reply. Save your money. Try Ipcam Soft instead. ### 1/5 — USED to be a great app. *2018-07-10, version 3.1.1* This app worked really well with my d-link cameras until the last update!!! You need to fix it! Also there is no support for my HD exterior cameras (IPCCam and SV3C cams). These cams are great and very reasonably priced. Too bad this app doesn’t work with them. At their price and what they have to offer, I am sure a lot of people are buying them. Buyer beware!!! Make sure you have cams that are on there list. Also wait till they fix the last update. Avoid this app if you get new cameras. This app hasn't been updated in two years. I have used it for six years and it continues to operate without fail. Updates are quick and easy. ### 5/5 — Works good *2021-06-09, version 3.1.1* To view camera externally, you need to add the external IP address and Port number, if you are having problems with this function. To find your external IP address go to your computer and use your external App to locate your camera on your local network. In the setup menu locate the system IP settings and locate the external IP and port info. Then open this App and enter the info. My cameras have audio and microphone and they both work perfect with this app. The key to your success with this app is to fool around with the different features. I haven't punched through my firewall so it's accessible from outside of my internal network and it's amazing with its response times and the night vision is superlative. The only thing that frustrated me, was the in app additional $.99 purchase for multiview. It seemed to be underhanded; but it does mention it in the description. So in all fairness I could have wasted the $4.99 I spent plus the $.99 if everything didn't work as well as it does.
