Best is the thorough, well done Johns Hopkins Antibiotic Guide. What do you want to know about and infectious disease for its treatment? Easily find the correct and up to date answer in the Antibiotic Guide. The Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Test he is also outstanding. Are use it on my iPad. I have no trouble with adequate storage space. You should add additional components like Harriet-Lane's book. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible failure of technology *2016-10-05, version 1.31* Used this Hopkins abx guide since around 2011 for med school an internal med residency, used to pay out of pocket for stand alone app because it was so useful. I would still use it now as an ID fellow but the Unbound app becomes completely unusable when it deems time for an update which involves freeing up more space on my iphone 6 which i don't have time to do every 3 -6 weeks during a busy consult service. I am annoyed it comes bundled with all these other garbage references that clutter up the search function. I get this app free through my institution but i would pay handsomely for the paper version of this guide and sorely miss the standalone app. The content is unrivaled, but an app that is unusable every time it updates is unreliable and thus not a tool i would use in day to day clinical practice. Then you have to wait for it to update itself, which takes several minutes, before you can access the content. Not practical at all as a quick reference for the clinical setting. It is an extraordinary resource for ALL clinicians, medical residents and students in their clinical years. In addition to the various apps used as sources of reference, I love that it provides me with up to date information from a number of medical journals which I have the luxury of selecting myself. Truly extraordinary!
