**New Features**
- Next-visit dates on vet visit records now sync automatically to the iOS Calendar app via EventKit. They can appear on calendars shared with your family, so it's easier not to miss appointments.
- The Stats screen can now be filtered by record type and subtype (e.g., poop condition, symptom category), making it easier to spot specific trends.
- Added a 90-day option to the Stats period selector for a longer trend view.

**Improvements**
- Fixed an issue where the calendar permission alert on the vet visit form could not be dismissed in some cases.
- Localized a few remaining Japanese-only UI strings into English and Spanish.

**New Features**
- Medication, meal, and water reminders now sync with Apple's Reminders app. They appear on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, and work with Siri, the complete button, and family sharing.
- Redesigned the medication list. You can now set a separate reminder for each drug, making it easier to stay on top of doses.

**Improvements**
- Faster Apple Watch startup. The Watch app caches your last pet list and opens the record screen instantly, so the "please register a pet" screen no longer flashes on launch. A "Syncing with iPhone…" spinner is shown while data is still coming in.
- Reminder screens are much faster to open, even on devices with many calendar entries.
- Reminder icons (clock and bell) now bounce briefly when a reminder is completed or updated, so changes from another device or the Reminders app are easy to notice.

**New Features**
- Added a pinned memo field on the pet card. Notes you enter from the pet edit screen — therapeutic diet, care reminders, anything you want to see every time — stay visible on the home card.
- Added a table view on the lab trends screen. Toggle between chart and table with a single tap to see date-by-date values. Multiple results recorded on the same day are distinguished by their time.
- Added a journal list for daily notes. From "Today's Note" on the pet detail screen, tap the list button to browse past entries newest-first and search their contents.

**Improvements**
- Backup import now shows real progress through actual work stages (Preparing → Pets → Foods → … → Applying photos) instead of a static counter.

**New Features**
- Enhanced the record history filter. Selecting Symptom, Free Note, Poop, or Pee now reveals a second row of chips so you can narrow further by subtype (specific symptom, category, or condition).
- While a subtype filter is active, each row shows the elapsed time since the previous record of the same subtype. Records with no prior occurrence within the last 30 days display "More than 30 days since last".

**Improvements**
- New water records now prefill the water type, amount bucket, and ml value from your most recent water entry. Notes stay blank.

### 1.4.3 — 2026-06-18

**Improvements**
- When you tap Cancel or swipe a record form down while editing, a confirmation dialog now appears if you've typed text or attached a photo (works in all 7 record types, vet visit, vet memo, and lab result forms). This prevents you from losing your input by mistake.
