This is a solid 4x game inspired by MOO and similar games. It needs some polish, some additional help / explanation screens, but it is on the right path. Hope the dev puts the time in to finish this. It is already playable and very enjoyable w lots of replay value. With a little more time it could go from good to really great. Keep working on it pls. Good value even in its current form. ### 4/5 — Master of Orion 1.5 *2024-03-22* This is a relatively straightforward 4X game set to the tune of galactic empires duking it out over ever-decreasing expansion opportunities. You’re offered a good amount of control to balance the push-pull of building defenses or new colonies, versus scientific advancement or exploring. Each new game offers quite a few options to change up what sort of galaxy you’re dealt, nice for replay. The UI is unorthodox but after some play I got mostly used to it, such as the way it shows tiers of screens as a sequence of buttons so that I can get right to the view I want. The colony screen could use tweaking or improvement; some information I wanted to know like colony income vs maintenance, I just couldn’t find. I also couldn’t quite wrap my head around automated building and never had the courage to leave it to its own devices. Combat selection should be manual because the automatic selection doesn’t seem to work have of the time. 15 ships, many outfitted with bombs to damage planets, sitting right on top of an enemy system; 50 turns later, combat still hasn’t triggered. Meaning you can’t launch full scale raids on the galaxy because the game just seemingly doesn’t want you to do that. Would be nice if you were allowed to win the game, as fair as I’m concerned now, booting up Uciana for any reason is utterly pointless and a complete waste of time. ### 3/5 — Очень круто, но недоработано *2025-06-11* Игра очень интересная, затягивающая, разнообразная. Но к сожалению в игре есть недоработки, а именно не работают два достижения и при игре на большом количестве планет регулярно зависает. ### 3/5 — Excellent premise, but unrefined *2024-03-10* First of, there is a lack of no-microtransaction games out there and I'm glad to say this one is truly free of any p2w mechanics. The Good: The is is a great strategy game that has a lot of depth and different pathways to explore. The Bad: There is a certain level of refinement that is expected from a paid game and this game is pretty cluttered. Everything is a button with a loosely-related icon, no text descriptions. This leads to a very steep learning curve at the beginning. There are still some actions I feel like there should be, but I'm still not sure if I'm missing in the sea of buttons or they don't exist. Secondly, there is a whole lot of clicking for each round going on that really should be condensed down somehow. Thirdly, I did find that the audio over bluetooth frequently degrades into nothing over a few minutes. Should you buy it? Its hard to say no to a 99 cent price tag, but if you are looking to spend I'd probably say find something more refined, otherwise this is still enjoyable and way more enjoyable than all the in-app purchase junk out there. ### 3/5 — Fun Numbers/Sim Game… but.. *2024-03-06* It’s a game that the only way to learn to play to is to already know how to play it. :D The design of the game is not intuitive and there’s not enough guide pop ups to guide you. The guides it does have are not very helpful and lack detail. There’s some guide videos linked in the game but they don’t really explain the mechanics of the strategy. I’ll be honest, I had no idea what the point of the game was after idk how many attempts and clicking everything. Once you spend a good hour or two pushing buttons you kind of start to learn what the point of the game is and how to play it. Glad it wasn’t expensive ### 4/5 — Good, but… *2025-03-06* Had the android version of this game, it seems the AI on android worked much better, ios version doesn’t attack much and with low tier units and therefore is much too easy ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Faithful MOO2 Adaption *2026-08-14, version 30.1* What a little gem this game is and quite a steal for the price. If you are one of those players that dig 4X strategy games and loved Master of Orion II wayback when which was once the benchmark of such games, you won’t find a more faithful adaptation of it anywhere else. No game is the same. The only minor gripes are the sliders are not that obvious and the interactive elements are a bit on the small size. Plus, no updates for a couple of years. Other than that and once you get your head around each of the screens, you could be losing hours into this game. Auch habe ich e schon auf meinen Vorgänger Handys und Tablets gespielt. alles super wer diese Art von spiele gerne spielt kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen und einfach los zocken. Wer Master of Orion gerne zockt oder andere Games in dieser Richtung wird hier ein Zuhause finden.
