## What is Udapt?

Udapt is one plan for today's training and today's food that adjusts each morning to how you've recovered, and tells you why in plain English.

HOW IT WORKS
• Udapt reads your sleep, heart rate variability and resting heart rate from Apple Health, plus a four-question morning check-in
• Your morning is Go, Ease off or Recover, compared with your own normal, never with other people's
• On a Go day your weights go up when you're ready. Ease off means fewer sets and a lighter effort, with the original session one tap away
• Food targets for your goal stay steady every day

STRENGTH
• Programmes for the gym, home, resistance bands, a hotel gym or just the floor
• Beginner, Intermediate or Experienced, with the next level offered when you reach it
• How-to photos for every exercise, and swaps that protect a shoulder, knee or lower back
• Progress: weeks in a row, sets for each muscle and personal records

RUNNING, CYCLING AND SWIMMING
• A nine-week run/walk plan to a 30-minute run, running to your own goal, easy rides, and pool or open-water swims
• Race goals from 5K to marathon, with two lighter weeks before race day
• Spoken cues, distance and pace on iPhone or Apple Watch, saved to Apple Health
• Runs, rides and swims from other apps and devices count in your plan

MENOPAUSE MODE
A weekly back extension, an optional daily Bone builder that follows the Royal Osteoporosis Society's impact exercise levels, and two extra check-in taps.

FOOD
Calorie, protein, carb and fat targets. Search over 14,000 foods, scan a barcode, or (with Apple Intelligence) log a meal from a photo or by voice.

MY OWN PLAN
Add the plan your physio or rehab team gave you, or import their file. Udapt never changes it.

APPLE WATCH, WIDGETS AND SIRI
The morning check-in, sets logged with the Digital Crown, heart rate as you lift, runs, rides and swims on your wrist; widgets, a Live Activity, and "Hey Siri, how ready am I?"

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no analytics. Health data stays in Apple Health and everything else on your phone. Your location is used only during a run or ride you record. A scanned barcode's number goes to Open Food Facts, nothing else leaves your phone.

A WELLNESS APP
Udapt isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose or treat anything. Talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise or eating plan, especially if you're pregnant or have a medical condition.

SUBSCRIPTION
Udapt is a monthly or yearly subscription, both with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4 — 2026-10-14

New in Udapt 1.4

• Help and user guide: the whole guide is now inside the app, with pictures, in your language, and it works offline. Find it in Settings.
• When your readiness changes a session, the card now says why, for example "Your heart signals are below your usual range".
• Run/walk: at the start of each run, Udapt tells you today's runs and the pace, and "How run/walk works" explains the nine weeks on one screen.
• Finish run/walk and Udapt marks it: share a picture, then keep going with easy 30-minute runs.
• "Your first 5K": the App Store event now takes you straight to setting up run/walk.
• Please check with your doctor or a health professional before you start.

### 1.3 — 2026-10-11

New in Udapt 1.3

• Engine improvements: Udapt's training, readiness and food rules now follow published research, and the Why? screens name the sources.
• A simpler readiness: each morning is Go, Ease off or Recover, with how many of your checks are in your usual range. The morning check-in is now four quick questions: sleep, tiredness, soreness and stress compared with usual.
• Resistance bands: choose Resistance bands as your equipment for plans that need only bands and your bodyweight. Under-14s train with bands and bodyweight.
• Running and cycling: a nine-week run/walk plan to a 30-minute run, running toward your own goal, or easy rides, shaped by your readiness each morning. A timer with spoken cues, distance and pace, on iPhone or Apple Watch, saved to Apple Health.
• Train anywhere: pick Gym, Home, Resistance bands or Just the floor on Today's training card for each session, and tell Udapt what you have at home, from dumbbells to a multi-gym.
• Levels: choose Beginner, Intermediate or Experienced for strength, running, cycling and swimming. Beginners start with simpler versions of the big lifts, and Udapt offers the next level when you reach it.
• Swimming: pool or open-water plans, recorded on Apple Watch with lengths and pace, or logged on iPhone.
• Race goals: train for a 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon on your race date, with two lighter weeks before it. Fitness training: runs plus a weekly station session in a race format.
• Progress: weeks in a row, this week's sets for each muscle and your personal records. Share a picture of a finished workout.
• Hotel gym and medicine ball: tell Udapt what's in the hotel gym, and a medicine ball at home adds a short power finisher.
• Apple Watch: the morning check-in, Ease off with Keep the original, heart rate while you lift and rest, last time's weights, how-tos and swaps, and complications for today's session and protein.
• Runs, rides and swims that other apps and devices save to Apple Health now count in your plan.
• Stop if…: with no “yes” on the health check, you can hide the reminder before each session in Settings.
• A fresh look, with new photos throughout.
• Menopause mode: turn on "I’m in perimenopause or menopause" for a weekly back extension, an optional daily Bone builder that follows the Royal Osteoporosis Society’s impact exercise levels, and two extra check-in taps.
• How hard was that session? After you finish, rate it from 0 to 10.
• My own plan: add a plan from your health or rehab team step by step, including walks, runs and rides, or import the file your team sent.
• Traveling sessions now use only exercises that need nothing but the floor.
• Please check with your doctor or a health professional before you start.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-05

New in Udapt 1.2

• GLP-1 mode: if you take a GLP-1 medicine, turn on "I take a GLP-1 medicine" in Settings › You and your goal. Your morning check-in gains two optional taps, Queasy today and Not hungry today. On a good day either one makes the session lighter, and the food card puts protein first with a reminder to have small meals and plenty to drink. Udapt never asks for your medicine, dose or timing, and never advises on them.
• Sick days: tap "Unwell or travelling?" on Today and say whether it's a cold (head and throat only) or a fever, chest or aching all over. Udapt makes it a rest day, keeps your food target steady, and eases you back in when you tap I'm better.
• Traveling: sessions swap to exercises you can do in a hotel room, about 20 to 30 minutes, and your food target stays steady. Udapt offers this when your iPhone changes time zone; tap I'm home when you're back.
• A real lighter week: after a third Recover day in a row, Udapt offers a lighter week, with fewer sets and easier effort for 7 days, then back to normal.
• Setup now has photos, and Settings › Replay setup walks you through it again with your answers filled in.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-30

New in Udapt 1.1

• My own plan: if your physio, doctor or rehab team has given you an exercise plan, add it in Settings › Training › My own plan exactly as it's written. Udapt never changes it. Tick each set as you go, finished sessions are saved to Apple Health, and Share my sessions sends your rehab team a plain list of what you did.
• Control Center buttons: Start Today's Workout and Log Food open Udapt straight at that screen.
• Udapt now speaks Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), including every exercise how-to. It follows your iPhone's language. Food search still uses English food names for now.
• A new app icon with the Udapt name.
• Suggest a feature: Settings › Help and information opens our feedback board.
• Fixed: the health check button on the Training card now opens the health check, not the top of Settings.
