This app has a ton of glitches with Face ID coming and going and the password not being accepted. Takes three business days to even load all my accounts, and my account balance never updates unless I manually re-sync the bank accounts. ### 1/5 — Critical verification loop - action required immediately *2025-10-17, version 4.0.32* I applied for a savings account over a week ago and have been stuck in a verification loop since. Each day I receive the same email: “Your application is almost complete – additional information is required.” But when I click the link and input my credentials, the web version fails to recognize my login, while the mobile app accepts it instantly with the exact same information. This issue is clearly a bug between app and web systems. It’s blocking full activation, costing valuable time, and delaying my deposits. Please escalate this and resolve it immediately — this system flaw is unacceptable for a financial institution offering high-yield services. I’m ready to complete everything as soon as the loop is removed. I expect this fixed with urgency. ### 2/5 — Touch ID broken *2025-10-15, version 4.0.32* iPhone SE doesn’t support Face ID, only Touch ID. When I try to enable Touch ID in this app, it takes me to settings to enable Face ID - but there is no such setting to enable, my device has Touch ID. ### 1/5 — ACH Transfers Take FOREVER *2025-10-08, version 4.0.32* Other banks’ inter-bank ACH transfers take only one to two business days. Transfers out of UFB Direct seem to take up to three to four business days, some even offer real-time ACH transfers. I don’t know what’s up with this bank, but it should get its act together in this regard. ### 1/5 — Prefer old version *2025-10-05, version 4.0.32* Came to make this 1 star review after UFB app will NOT log me in!?! This app basically just looks like a safari web browser window opening UFB. The old version showed me how much daily compounded interest I accrued up to the day I log on… something missing in new app. Older app felt & looked better imo. ### 1/5 — This app is garbage *2025-10-03, version 4.0.32* This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. This isn’t just an in-app issue either… when I go to their website, I can’t even login because my username “doesn’t exist”—despite me logging into the app just fine. Unless this is fixed, avoid this bank at all costs! ### 1/5 — WHERE IS "TOUCH ID" SUPPORT?!!! *2025-09-12, version 4.0.32* Ok, so the new update looks very nice. But what's the purpose of abandoning the support for the Touch ID feature for older devices with home button?!!?! I can't understand this! This is a lack of an important safety feature & convenience. It was working totally fine before in the old version of the app. As of this writing, only the Face ID login option is supported in the app. This is either happened due to a bug or developer team carelessness!! Anyway I hope that you address this issue and provide support for Touch ID feature ASAP in the next update release for the app. I'm waiting for your response. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Do not open a checking account here. *2026-08-23, version 5.5.504* Randomly cancels money transfers, company RANDOMLY blocks card use. I just moved to a new state and have been using the card everyday for the week I’ve been here. Today I went to get groceries and the card was declined even though I had more than enough in my account. I got a fraud alert txt, verified it was me making the purchase, card still would not work. Customer service agent said there was NO problem with my card or account and that I should try again another day….had to leave my very full cart at the store and am moneyless until my card starts working on its own I guess. 0/10 BANK SOMEWHERE ELSE. ### 1/5 — App does not update *2026-08-01, version 5.4.5* It’s been a few months now and this app stopped updating. It simply shows “no transactions” when there are. It makes it extremely hard to check to see if a particular transaction has occurred. Have I been paid? Has that transaction gone through? I have absolutely no idea. There is no excuse for 1) no fixing this and 2) not keeping your customers apprised of your progress. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-06-03, version 5.3.7* The app is never up to date, rarely reflects correct balances and now it’s saying that I don’t have an account at all. ### 1/5 — “No transactions”? *2026-05-27, version 5.3.7* I have been with UFB for over 3 years but in the last couple of months the app has started saying that my accounts have “no transactions” to display when I log on. This is clearly false as I use my checking account nearly daily. Also the last time I went to deposit a check it said that I needed to open an account to do so! I have multiple accounts open. How else do you think I got onto the app! This app was OK before but now it is basically useless. Not sure how much I can trust an online bank that isn’t transparent and doesn’t allow for basic online functions. ### 1/5 — Worst banking app *2026-04-09, version 5.3.7* I’ve had UFB since 2024. Their banking app is subpar to all other financial apps out there. It is glitchy, many times it doesn’t work at all. It takes time for it to give you your balance. Sometimes the balance is off or shows no balance at all. Really disappointed on how bad this app is. Only reason why I’m still banking with them it’s because all my payments are set up through them. Best of all, I see all my info without having to scroll and hold to get to the bottom of a page.
