Always a cropping error. Sometimes it works, sometimes not on mobile deposit. Worked in software for 30 years, I don’t require tech support or a response. ### 4/5 — Glitches every 3-4 times I try to open *2026-08-04, version 3.4.0* The app is often very good and helpful, but the sign-in page seems to glitch out every 3-4 times I try to open it. I use a pin, but every so often, I get either a time-out error or a biometrics access required error. The last thing I want is to be forced to add biometrics to my phone by my banking app. Please allow us to opt out of this in future updates. Could you please make available a version that can be used on older devices, or make it possible to deposit checks by logging in via web browser, instead of the mobile app? Short of finding an ATM, or buying a new mobile device ($$$!) what are my options? ### 3/5 — New trouble with mobile deposit *2026-03-01, version 1.5.1* Generally, app has worked fine - now I’m having trouble with mobile deposit, in particular the back side of check. It keeps saying the edges of the checks are not located and take another photo. Tried many different surfaces, lighting. There is nothing unique about this check (payroll) check). Can you please add a “remaining statement balance” option to the pay function for credit cards? This is a really handy feature that most other credit card apps have. This app stresses me out. Every time I open it, I expect that I’ll either spend the next 2-3 minutes just waiting and hoping for it to load, or I will get frustrated and exit the app without getting done what I needed to. I really like UFCU but as someone who is making constant transactions and uses my phone a lot of for work, I am considering a switch to another bank just for peace of mind. It is so embarrassing to sit in front of a client with a blank phone screen while I awkwardly try to entertain them during the minutes it takes for the app to load just so I can confirm that a transaction went through. I love you so much UFCU! You’ve been great to me, but this app is not it! When I moved to Austin, UFCU was my second credit union because I had been hired by COA. I was encouraged to transfer my small savings & was given access to it. I was then referred to UFCU & I have managed my account with excellent guidance every step of the way managing my retirement.
