## What is uFlash?

uFlash: Modern flashcards made simple again.

Make your cards. Flip through them. Set aside the ones you know and keep practicing the rest.

uFlash brings that familiar way of studying to your iPhone and iPad. Create decks in the app or import them from a spreadsheet, then get straight to studying. It’s easy to learn, whether you’re reviewing vocabulary, preparing for an exam, or brushing up on a subject you enjoy.

STUDY AT YOUR OWN PACE

Reveal an answer and mark it Known or Unknown. When you want to focus on the harder cards, review just the ones that need more practice. You decide what to study and when.

YOUR DECKS BELONG TO YOU

You put time into making your flashcards. You should be able to keep them, edit them, and share them wherever you like.

That’s why uFlash uses standard CSV files. Open your decks in Apple Numbers, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or any text editor. Make changes in a spreadsheet, back up a copy, or send a deck to a classmate. Your cards stay in a format you can use outside the app.

Customize your decks with four fonts and four text sizes. Match both sides or style each independently with the new Text Options.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-20

Create folders, organize and move decks, or merge multiple decks while keeping the originals. Plus, enjoy cleaner toolbars and menus.

### 1.2.5 — 2026-08-30

Your decks may disappear. Their progress doesn’t have to.

uFlash 1.2.5 introduces Deleted Deck Data management, letting you safely delete a deck without losing its progress and reconnect saved progress when a deck returns—or clear it when you’re ready. This update also brings smoother search and menu interactions, improved list editing, and better dark mode support.

New List Mode makes it easier to browse and edit an entire deck at once.
• Search within a deck using text from either side of a card.
• Swipe individual cards to delete them, or select and delete multiple cards.
• Double-tap or long-press a deck name to rename it.
• Improved handling of saved settings and study progress when decks are renamed or re-added.
• Numerous improvements to scrolling, gestures, keyboard behavior, layouts, and dark mode.
