The top bar says search, but it’s a repeat of the scan procedure , meeting you need the book’s barcode. This app looked like a good improvement over the previous version, but it is useless if you’re reading a book review and then wanna search for the book and request it. I’ve alerted the staff at the Troy Public Library. I don’t know where else to report this but it’s a huge and critical oversight/mistake. ### 4/5 — New App is Better *2025-09-12* The updated app is better. The one feature I wish was included is the ability to get a push notification when a book placed on hold is ready. ### 3/5 — No self checkout on the app anymore *2025-08-22* This app was recently updated, but the ability to check out a book on the app is gone. This was a very handy feature. ### 1/5 — App won’t let me log in *2025-08-16* App looks like it’s logging in then does nothing. Other app used to work fine and now no longer shows books checked out. Pretty useless system. ### 1/5 — Catalogue entries cannot be selected *2020-10-01* I discovered this week (September 28, 2020) that my mobile app will no longer permit me to select an item for reserve after I have finished a search. I can still see what I have checked out and what I have already requested, but I cannot select and reserve anything new from the mobile app. I am using an iPhone 7 with updated operating system. I have already tried deleting and reinstalling the app. It does not work. Is anybody at Upper Hudson Library System paying attention to this app? ### 3/5 — Not bad but doesn't keep that crazy long acct *2020-03-07* I think the app is helpful but it's not very smooth when borrowing ebooks and it doesn't save my account number? I think it needs to have sign on options that don't include typing that silly long number. Ugh.
