After typing text box freezes on save/cancel screen. Have to close and reload app. Btw, using iPad Pro latest iOS **Developer response:** I see a problem in that you are trying to insert labels from the application, but all names (e.g. fader, snapshot and scene names) must be entered and edited in the Web browser - as if you were creating them only in the Web interface. You only enter the names of your own PRESETs directly in the application. The problem will be somewhere directly in the built-in browser (try Chrome or Firefox as an alternative) or the iPad settings. In general, I recommend clearing the browser cache and keeping iOS and the browser updated. ### 4/5 — Нужная программа! *2023-03-15* Но есть пару моментов. Через USB или MIDI работает. А через сетевую опцию RTP MIDI не видит контроллер, но с сильными тормозами работает. I’ve bought both versions iOS and Windows and both have a lot issues. Tested on X Touch Universal control + UI24R iOS version for iPads works nice and light comes on selected presets assigned to buttons. But when i use 2 track and/or multi track recordings on assigned buttons lights not working, and you don’t see is it recording right now or not. You can’t assign channels colours to your X Touch. Windows version you can assign channel colour. But everything other not working as on iPads. Assigned presets buttons not showing what preset now selected, as well as recording. After update I will update my score. ### 4/5 — Question *2023-02-21* I cannot find any detailed instructions on how to use „Direct preset CC“ function in guitar digitech engine. Каждый применяется отдельно к определенному типу ОС. Однако вы можете установить до 10 своих устройств под каждым. Например. в рамках одной лицензии для iOS вы можете использовать приложение как на iPhone, так и на iPad, в виде Windows, например, на ПК, и одновременно с 9 другими планшетами Windows (конечно, под своим Apple_ID ИЛИ учетной записью Microsoft). К сожалению, на меня это не повлияет, потому что лицензией отдельно управляют Apple и Microsoft ... ### 4/5 — Cool App that does most things *2021-11-07, version 2.0.0* This app does most things you’d need. It’d be nice to have control of the input gains, and I can’t fathom out how to get to the eq settings but it’s very neat the way my ageing BCF2000 can control the Ui to do nearly all the things I need. For about £30 it’s given my Ui idiot proof faders even those I work with can understand! I never give 5* but it’s pretty close. Recommended!!! ### 2/5 — very nice idea…. but… *2021-07-04* I seem to not be able to find a way to connect to the app via Wifi. The „learning“ works but I cant control any channel. I also miss the listing of the pricing of the Pro Version… ### 4/5 — Does what it says on the tin! *2020-08-30* If you need (or want) to be able to control your Soundcraft UI mixer from a physical control surface, such as a Behringer BCF-2000 or X-Touch, this is the app. It’s not perfect (and I’m going to hopefully say “yet”), but it does to exactly what it says on the tin. I’m not going to lie. Setup is tedious, but allows for a lot of flexibility, with control of up to 9 parameters for each channel, plus bank switching, and a few “master” controls. One thing to note: If you’re on a UI24R, the “free” or “demo” mode will not work, or at least, not fully. And, as I mentioned, the app is not perfect. For instance, I’d like to see larger selection “buttons” in the MIDI Presets panel, and maybe a way to type the controller values in as opposed to having to move the knob, button, or fader for each entry. Also, since this app allows sharing on up to six devices, it would be nice to be able to share the configuration information between devices. Finally, input gain is not one of the adjustable parameters, and I’d find that one to be an important option. The author was very quick to respond to my questions when I couldn’t get the demo/free version to work with the UI24R, and I’d guess he’ll be pretty responsive to other questions as well — there’s even an “email author” button in the settings page of the app. This is not an inexpensive app, but specialized apps like this seldom are, and this one’s pretty well thought out. I may even be convinced to upgrade my aging BCF-2000 now! **Developer response:** Thank you for a really nice review. You will find a lot of new features in the new version soon. ### 5/5 — FUNZIONAAAAAAAAA *2020-07-25* Ho appena provato un Icon Platform M+ e FUNZIONA BENISSIMO. Basta abilitare il Mackie Protocol e l’App vedrá tutti i parametri trasmessi senza alcun problema. Si detta tutto in pochi minuti e la nuova funzione preset (UI Midi ver. 2.0) permette di utilizzare il controller come se si usassero le scene di un mixer digitale tradizionale. FANTASTICO Costa tanto ma ne vale la pena e facilità tanto il lavoro del fonico. OTTIMO LAVORO PAVEL!!! PS: Sarebbe carino implementare le seguenti funzioni: - Backup e Restore dei preset (magari sul Cloud); - Controllo delle varie funzioni del menu Edit EDIT 29/02/2020 Dopo 15gg di utilizzo, confermo la semplicità d’uso e la stabilità dell’App. Anche chiudendo e riaprendo il programma impiega al massimo 2/3sec. Per ri-sincronizzarsi. EDIT 23/07/2020 Continuo a usare questa App da 6 mesi e confermo il suo funzionamento anche con ICON Platform M+ e X+ con relativo Display D2. L’interfaccia viene riconosciuta immediatamente ed i tasti in più dell’M+ permettono anche il cambio scena dell’App al volo. Manca ancora solo la possibilità di effettuare un backup delle scene per copiarle su un altro dispositivo (es. creare una scena su iPad e poi copiarla su iPhone). 5 stelle confermate! **Developer response:** Hi SalvaThore, and thank you for your message with Icon Platform M +! This Ui MIDI is very expensive if we compare to “mixing station “ app and does not provide a lot of possible controls connexions for an xtouch and an Ui ( not enough ), a bit disappointed regarding the price. **Developer response:** And you also forgot to mention that the Ui MIDI mixer app is very intuitive and easy to set up that even a child can handle, that it doesn't fall and works even with a locked iPad or iPhone, that it includes complete MIDI control for guitarists and the use of great built-in Digitech and Lexicon effects... that the app is so stable and debugged on the iOS platform that they even use it in European theaters to control stage plays ... And thanks for the price alert, I completely forgot about inflation. So I adjusted the prices, so I hope you will be satisfied now. Otherwise, please switch the DEMO switch to OFF and then connect your iPad (or iPhone) vi WIFI to Ui mixer as usual (check internal browser if works with your Ui mixer). Connect your MIDI controller to your iPad and tap on OPEN mixer. That's all ... Reported it via mail to the developer directly within the app. Got a response in less than an hour, a confirmation right after…and BOOM. The issue was fixed and the patch was up in the appstore within a day!! This is extra ordinary (I work in this field myself)! Money well spent! Sende es von einem win 10 pc über Roland um one usb midi auf ein iPad ins ui midi app. Suchte lange eine Lösung, da der Mixer kein midi hat. Danke für die Lösung. If you use another PC as remote MIDI controller you can effectively save/load/switch your PRESETS, SCENES OR CUES direct by CC 0..127. Please try: 1. Switch ON - Run in background 2. Switch OFF - Feedback (Nano Kontrol 2 has no motorized faders) 3. Switch OFF - Mackie mode and run Nano Kontrol 2 in MIDI mode 4. Work with "CC any button value" - it can be ON or OFF (for momentary switch buttons) 5. Dont plug off the USB cabel from iPad and Nano Kontrol 2 controller when you run Ui app ... It's not problem with Wifi connection between iPad/iPhone and Ui mixer? I recommended use 5GHz band for Wifi connection (Ui24R mixer) or external router (for Ui12/16 mixers) - much more stable than 2,4GHz band ...
