## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.0 — 2026-09-01

A NEW LOOK, EVERY SCREEN

Uintah Reach has been redrawn. There is artwork behind every screen now, cards sit on it like glass, and the whole app is set in one typeface instead of four. New launch screens for light and dark.

The header is quieter too: your messages and your account, and nothing else. Alerts moved into Account, and the unread dot now rides on your profile picture.

A DIRECTORY OF LOCAL BUSINESSES

New in this version: plumbers, electricians, mechanics, hair, hauling — the trades and services the Basin actually runs on, gathered in one place. Free to list, and free to stay listed.

Filter by town and it understands service areas, so a Vernal electrician who covers Roosevelt still turns up when you are looking from Roosevelt.

Listing a business is the same short form as everything else. Opening hours are optional, because "we answer when we answer" is a real answer.

Find it under More, or on the Home screen.

Posting a service as a classified is retired — that was always the workaround for not having a directory. Service classifieds you have already posted still work exactly as before.

RATE A FOOD TRUCK

The stars are real now. Leave a rating and a few words, edit it later, or take it down. One review per truck, you will need to be signed in, and you cannot review your own truck.

Ratings show up on the truck, on the food truck board, and on the home screen.

POSTING IS A FEW SHORT SCREENS NOW

Every form — classifieds, events, jobs, food trucks, businesses — used to be one long scroll that asked for everything at once and checked none of it until you hit Submit. Now it is a handful of screens with two to four questions each, and nothing runs longer than six.

The first question is the one that decides the rest. Pick Free and you are never asked a price. Pick Garage Sale and you are never asked for a category. Steps that no longer apply to what you are posting are skipped, not shown empty.

CHECK EVERYTHING BEFORE IT GOES UP

The last screen is a summary of every answer you gave. Read it over, tap any section to go back and fix it, then submit once from there.

That same summary is what opens when you edit a post.

IT REMEMBERS WHERE YOU WERE

Get interrupted halfway through a post and the app offers to pick it up where you left off the next time you open that form. It asks first — it will not fill anything in behind your back. Photos are not saved, and it tells you so rather than quietly leaving them out.

MISTAKES LAND ON THE RIGHT SCREEN

If something is missing or the server refuses it, the app takes you to the step that holds it instead of dropping you at the top of the form.

THE BOARDS SAY MORE

Events, classifieds, jobs, food trucks and businesses all open on a proper landing page now — how many of each kind there are, the categories worth tapping, and a few picks before the full list.

Job cards show the pay. Food truck cards say when the truck is next open.

FOOD TRUCKS

• Each stop gets its own screen instead of stacking up on one • Choose the days you are open and the hours appear only for those days • Email, Facebook and Instagram can go on your listing from the app at last • Payment tags too — say what you take before anyone walks up • Opening hours like 9:00 are read correctly now; nine-to-five used to be rejected outright

JOBS

You can finally add an application link or a phone number from the app.

VOICEOVER

Each step announces itself as you move through — "Step 3 of 6, Where to find you".

FIXES

• Tapping OK after posting now leaves the form, instead of stepping back into the one you just sent • Editing a food truck can no longer wipe a menu the form failed to load • Clearing all of a truck's payment tags now actually clears them • A post that fails to load while editing says so, instead of showing an empty summary • General fixes and performance polish

Thanks for using Uintah Reach.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-23

DARK MODE, FINISHED
If your phone is set to dark, the whole app is dark now — every screen, every card, every form. No more one screen flashing white at night.

SAY WHAT YOU TAKE
Selling something? Tag what you'll accept at handoff — Cash, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Check, Card, Trade, or Other. Buyers see "Takes: Cash, Venmo" right on the post, so the first message isn't "do you take Venmo?"

No money moves through the app. It's a label on your post, nothing more.

FORMS THAT HELP
Every listing type now explains itself as you choose it — "Curb alert — take it away.", "Something you want to sell." The app used to make you guess.

• Submit with something missing and the form takes you back up to it, instead of leaving the problem off-screen • Back out of a half-filled post and it asks before throwing the work away • The fields you get match what you picked — choose Free and the price field steps aside

EASIER TO USE
• Buttons that were only an icon now say what they do out loud • Form errors are announced, not just shown in red • Muted text darkened so it holds up in daylight • A bigger tap target on the home search button

THE SAME APP ON EVERY TAB
Events, classifieds, jobs, and food trucks now share one look and one set of behaviours — the same cards, the same filters, the same empty states — each with its own colour so you always know which one you're in.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Food trucks read "Apple Pay" and "Google Pay" instead of "Apple_pay" and "Google_pay" • Consistent filtering and photo handling across all four post types • General fixes and performance polish

Thanks for using Uintah Reach.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-21

FREE STUFF AND CURB ALERTS
Giving something away? Post it as Free — no price, no haggling. Free posts run for 48 hours, because a couch on the curb doesn't last a week. Find them under the new Free filter in Classifieds.

GARAGE SALES
Post a yard sale in seconds. Choose Garage Sale when you submit an event, put in the address and your Friday-to-Saturday hours, and it goes up with its own badge and its own category, so people hunting sales on a Saturday morning can find every one in the Basin.

THIS WEEKEND IN THE BASIN
A weekly roundup every Thursday afternoon: what's on, which garage sales are running, where the food trucks are parking, and the newest classifieds. Quiet week? We don't send it. Turn it on or off under Notifications in your profile, or unsubscribe straight from the email.

ADD TO CALENDAR
One tap on any event puts it in your calendar, at the right time, with the location and the details.

YOU'LL KNOW WHEN AN EVENT IS CALLED OFF
Said you were Interested or Going and the organizer cancels? You get told — instead of finding out in an empty parking lot.

A HEADS UP BEFORE YOUR POST EXPIRES
Classifieds and job posts now warn you the day before they come off the board, and you can renew right then from Activity instead of waiting for it to lapse.

SOMEONE SAVED YOUR POST
Find out when people save what you posted. One notification with a count, never a name — who saved something stays between them and their Saved list.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Free listings read "Free" everywhere, instead of "Contact for price"
• Tapping a notification now opens the exact post it's about
• Notifications hold overnight instead of buzzing at 2am
• A "Renew" button on posts that are close to expiring, not only expired ones
• Activity tells expiring-soon posts apart from expired ones
• Free listings still turn up when you filter by a maximum price
• Multi-day events stay listed through their final day
• General fixes and performance polish

Thanks for using Uintah Reach.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-20

RSVP TO EVENTS
Tap Interested or Going on any event, and see the tallies right on the event page and its card. Change your answer any time.

SAVE POSTS FOR LATER
Save any event, job, classified or food truck with one tap. Everything you keep lands in one Saved list under your profile.

FILTER BY TOWN
Pick a town when you post, and filter by town on every tab — events, jobs, classifieds and food trucks — so you see what's close to home.

NOTIFICATIONS
A new inbox collects updates about your posts, and a notifications screen under your profile lets you choose what reaches you, by email or push.

RECURRING EVENTS
Submit an event once and set which days of the week it repeats. Weekly meetups, recurring classes, and standing community events no longer need a new post every time.
• Choose repeat days with a simple Monday-through-Sunday picker • Event pages show the full schedule at a glance • Event cards and the home carousel show when a series repeats

CLOSE OUT YOUR POSTS
Sold the item, filled the job, or calling off the event? Mark it and it stops showing in the listings — cancelled events stay up with a Cancelled badge so nobody turns up for nothing. Undo any time, and renew a listing that has run its course.

FULL-SCREEN PHOTOS
Tap any photo to open it full screen. Pinch to zoom in on the details, swipe to dismiss.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Clearer date and time formatting across event listings • Smoother photo carousel on posts with several images • General fixes and performance polish

Thanks for using Uintah Reach.
