Awful app. ### 1/5 — Poor approach to VoiceOver accessibility *2025-07-20* It’s good to see a developer put a bit of time into making an app accessible with the iOS screen reader VoiceOver. Unfortunately, in this case, I think that approach is flawed. What they have done is, rather than ensuring that the interface used by everybody works well with VoiceOver, they have instead created a separate, severely cut down, and frankly substandard interface that shows instead whenever VoiceOver is toggled on. Visually impaired people have all the same needs as everyone else when travelling, and therefore would benefit from all the same tools provided to users who are not visually impaired. Add to that the fact that the supposedly accessible interface provides incomplete information, does not have an option for using GPS to determine the closest bus stops, and doesn’t even have a help section in order to provide feedback directly, and it feels like, rather than set out to make the service genuinely accessible to visually impaired people, they have done the absolute bare minimum to provide VoiceOver compatibility. This is such a shame, as genuinely accessible fully featured journey planners are like hens teeth, and there is a real need for a genuinely inclusive app. I hope the developers can think again about their approach to accessibility and provide a single interface that works for everyone. ### 1/5 — Dont say it’s live when its not *2024-09-12* Told me 3 buses and all the times were inaccurate and then ended getting an uber after waiting 1 hour cuz the bus said “30” minutes and the bus ended up being behind it. Fix. Your. Times. Or change the advertising. ### 1/5 — Bus stop destinations *2024-04-22* I downloaded this app a few minutes ago & have asked twice for a simple bus journey, ie my home to the supermarket about a mile + from my home. It keeps listing inappropriate buses that would entail a lengthy hilly walk to the shop; vert misleading indeed. I am now searching how to unsubscribe! **Developer response:** Sorry to hear you're having issues. The app gets live data directly from the local transit operator, so if there are issues with GPS receivers on the buses, or the operator's computer systems, that's out of our hands. BUT... if you're waiting for a bus, and the arrival time is green with a radio signal that's a good sign it's being tracked correctly. Remember that you can tap on the departure time to see where the bus is using the vehicle's GPS. We use that ourselves to make sure the bus is on its way. ### 2/5 — It gets it wrong *2025-03-03* It gets walking to the nearest stop wrong. It got it right for the first couple of weeks but now misses walking routes (after I’d paid for it). **Developer response:** I’m sorry to hear about this! Our app relies on map and transit data to provide walking directions, and sometimes changes in the data can affect accuracy. Thank you for bringing it to our attention! 😊 ### 3/5 — Limited options *2025-06-14* I like that you can plan to travel on buses only, however what about consideration for those with concessionary bus passes? What is needed for these people and those who are adventurous is a search for local buses only. This will make it easier for people to plan for and travel the length and breath of the UK on local buses. It’s entirely possible to do this. But there’s no app that allows for this need. **Developer response:** We hear you - I'm sure we can find a way to include a 'local buses' option.
