## What is UK Congenital Echo Guide?

Congenital heart defects are the most common type of birth defects in the United states affecting close to 7-8 babies per 10,000 live births. Critical congenital heart defects if left undiagnosed can lead to serious consequences in patients. Therefore recognition of these defects is imperative. This phone application is a hand on survival guide comprising of cardiac defects that are frequently encountered in neonates and infants. It may bring learners of congenital echocardiography a step closer to achieving their goals of recognizing and imaging congenital heart defects with confidence.
