Not once did this app give a postcode that was even close, most of the time it was 200 miles out and put me in Scotland when I was actually in Cheshire. The GPS is bang on my house but the red pin a way off. The app then needs to be killed before another attempt can be made to extract a postcode. Also picking the right code from the five or so presented is too hit or miss. Surely a file can be purchased that gives the correct postcode if you know the door number and street name? If this data/facility doesn't exist, then a postcode app such as this is pretty much a waste of your time and your money in my view. PS using the new iPad 3rd generation, so this could be the issue on the lock up front? Switching iPad off and on resolves this. Being able to delete the pins 1 by 1 on the map would be a bonus. It also often fails to use the phone location services, for some reason resulting in an incomplete postcode for most locations.
