The app has a very clear interface & is able to accurately calculate all manner of benefits & deductions accurately. The level of configuration for individual tax circumstances is just what I need. Very easy to use and input the numbers. Very useful background information also. The only one of those five things I can put in is my tax code. Not great, not useful, not worth using. ### 1/5 — Optional Setting *2019-06-17, version 10.0* I downloaded this app because of the options settings to allow to bonuses etc. which as I can see is the only thing this app does that the free apps do not. Unfortunately, other than adding this optional figures annually, this does not really work at all & if I was going to take the time to work out my net bonus/overtime etc annually I would just add to basic salary on one of the free apps. Very disappointing, I can’t see any benefit of this app over a free alternative. Refund requested. ### 4/5 — Well worth the 89p *2022-03-29, version 13.0* Great app. Plenty of flexibility in the setting to add all pensions, deductions etc. Gave a an accurate final figure when I made a comparison to my pay slip. Also like it gives the overall % of salary deducted. Updated with the new Tax / ni deductions with my increased salary in 22/33 . Well done to the developer. Clean neat interface. idiots can use this (me🥰) presumably will be updated in due course with the increased level when NI needs to paid. Hopefully added to the next update? ### 4/5 — A brilliant tax calculation tool *2019-04-10, version 10.0* I have used this app for a few years now and I still find it useful now. One question I will ask is if the app will be updated to account for the new Welsh income tax rules, now that a proportion of the income tax residents in Wales pays go directly to the Welsh Government. Otherwise, I still find this app useful for working out my own tax payments. ### 4/5 — Very Good But... *2018-11-27, version 9.1.2* Good for single income tax estimates. Would benefit from allowing private pension pre national retirement age plus salary income, so NIC can be correctly calculated. ### 4/5 — Brilliant easy to use tool to give you fairly accurate view *2017-04-25, version 8.1.1* Work out approx. how much to take home. Nice layout, easy to input the appropriate data.
