If one puts in an English word, then there are quite a bit of information about this English word, but nothing on the Ukrainian side apart from only the translation. I had hoped to find more in the Ukrainian part of the dictionary. Maybe it is rather meant for people who speak Ukrainian and use it as an English dictionary. ### 4/5 — Extremely Helpful *2015-08-29, version 1.11* Almost always has the best translation of the dictionaries I check. Easy to use and very helpful. The best Ukrainian-English dictionary I know of. Although I speak the Ukrainian language, I come across words I do not know. For the most part, it works well. The search feature is not quite good. One out of four searches do not find the word, but when I take the time to scroll the list alphabetically ( in Ukrainian), I find the list. I find this unacceptable. I don't read Cyrilic so the pronunciation is all I'm after (I speak Polish so this helps me a lot, due to overlap). The pronunciation is good enough - I'm using it to communicate. Suggestion: Allow list of words, separated by commas, and translate them all at one time. Also, when you translate an English word into Ukrainian and want to hear the audio pronunciation, it gives it to you in English. This app is not even close to prime time. Fantastic for average language learners who don't want to be buried under pile of definitions for every word, but want to get quick, clear and appropriate translation of the word or even a phrase. Just one suggestion for further updates - it would be nice to have phonetic transcription at least for difficult words in English section of the English-Ukrainian dictionary.
