## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No support, can not fully upgrade this free version

*2020-02-02*

Most important, The developer will not respond to emails requesting help.

The Free version cannot be upgraded fully. I purchased the full version upgrade but this app will not function as advertised. I need a refund but Apple won’t give me one, and neither will the developer.

Avoid this app and developer. Apple makes it very difficult to get a refund and it seems some developers rely on that to ignore requests for support. Apple is a predatory capitalist company.

### 1/5 — Ukeulule fret board addict

*2019-10-08, version 1.7.4*

Rubbish nearly all features that you may want are not available in the free version even though it gives the view that all are advert does not match what you get so I am afraid the free version would not encourage me to part with any money

### 1/5 — 💢💩💩💩👎👎

*2012-06-02*

Ok so maybe the paid version might be worth more stars but this free one is completely crap!! It won't even let see the chord cause the upgrade windows pops again and again forcing you to pay 4.99 for extra features. Don't waste your time to download this.

### 1/5 — Ukulele fretboard addict free

*2012-02-23, version 1.4.3*

I downloaded this app free and all it wanted was you to buy the upgraded app. Did not find the app to be any good.

### 1/5 — Neat concept, unreal expectation

*2011-10-08, version 1.4.3*

This is a great concept and would be useful but not for the $24.99 they want to purchase the full version.
Tried it for the 6 minutes it took before it makes you buy it, then promptly deleted it.

### 1/5 — Not Free

*2011-07-08, version 1.4*

The app keep asking to buy notes for 4.99$

### 1/5 — Indigent.

*2011-06-01*

Sans grand intérêt même si c'est bien fait.

### 1/5 — Can't "try"

*2011-04-26*

In the time it took to get two notes to play there were two ads, plus two in-app promotions (ads). The ads along the bottom appear to cover up a crucial button. How do we try the app?

### 1/5 — Terrible Ad placement!

*2011-04-14*

The ads cover up critical UI elements needed to even use the app. It's supposed to be a "try before you buy" in app purchase, but if I can't even try, I certainly won't buy.

### 1/5 — It won't even load!

*2011-03-07*

This is a great idea, but pleAse fix. It just will not load properly. 

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent teaching methods!

*2012-07-12*

I work as a special educator and I employ a lot of the same techniques with my students as this app does! Excellent drilling and training not only the position on the fretboard but also training your ear! It seems repetitive but is so worth it! Will definitely invest in the full version while I learn the ukulele

### 5/5 — Very useful tool

*2012-06-29*

Excellent quizzing tool.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2011-07-25*

I do not no what u guys mean by fixing it I think It is an awesome app helped my understanding of the uke I wish they made an app about fingerpicking styles on the ukulele.

### 4/5 — Pricey but worth it

*2012-08-08*

The upgrades to make this a useful tool are expensive but hey for the price of one uke book you can get an interactive teacher that quizzes you. A great way (at least for me) to master the fretboard!

### 4/5 — Guter trainer!!! Good trainer!!!

*2012-01-27*

Sehr Guter uke trainer; very good uke trainer.

### 3/5 — Expensive, but good practice

*2011-08-18*

For a free app, the total cost appears to be about $15 dollars for complete access. I say appears because it's not quite clear to me which exercises you get for each $4.99 in-app purchase, all of them or just portions of each type. This could be quite expensive, but if this style of teaching works for you it may be a good investment.

This is a solid learning tool for rote memorization of note placement on the fret.

### 2/5 — Good app, but too expensive

*2011-11-10*

Nice app, good method of learning, but 15 $ is a lot for what you could learn on your own without too much difficulty. 3 or 5 $ would be much more reasonable.
