### 3/5 — Great game but …

*2026-05-07, version 8.7*

There’s a major flaw in the app that when a joker is accidentally used at the wrong time, the game goes into a loop and the message ‘Error: Joker can only be played as first or last card of suit’ appears. The only way if moving toward is to abandon game and to abandon match. There is no other option.
Please fix this!! I’ve given up playing the game because it’s so annoying!

### 3/5 — Unable to select Rules Preferences

*2018-06-01, version 4.0*

Select Play Offline -> Play Solo -> View Rules, and in “Preferences Rules” one cannot change them: the lines that are checked/unchecked remain that way. Is there some ‘private’ keystroke sequence to change them known only to developer and co-workers?
I liked “My500” better that worked until I upgraded to iOS11 a while back because its developer is too lazy to fix that app to work with iOS11.

### 2/5 — Still work to do

*2017-06-15, version 4.0*

AI does not know how to play misère

Nobody plays online

### 3/5 — Really like this game

*2016-10-07, version 3.5*

I have been looking for a 500 game for ages, I like this one. The only thing I would ask you fix is the import for table and card backgrounds it keeps throwing an error saying the save name can't include numbers or symbols well mine don't and it still won't work, fix that and it would get more stars!

### 4/5 — Best 500 app I've Seen

*2016-07-15, version 3.4*

Best 500 app I've Seen. Wish there was a little more variation such as 5 in the kitty with one showing. Only can play nello/misere if you're in the hole. Also we play that there's only one round of bidding.

### 3/5 — Good but has bugs

*2016-04-30, version 2.9*

Great game, but if you accidentally play two cards at once game permanently crashes

### 2/5 — Paid version still crashing after software update.

*2016-02-05, version 2.5*

Still crashing just the same as the previous version

### 4/5 — Ultimate 500

*2016-02-01, version 2.5*

You haven't fixed the app crashing at the end of a hand. It never used to do that.

### 2/5 — Bad A.I., so-so interface (review for solo offline)

*2015-11-23, version 2.0*

Upon a 6 no trump bid computer partner (either yours or the opponent's) will ALWAYS bid 7 spades. Then the original no trump bidder (if it's not you) will follow with some crazy higher bid - often NOT in spades or it might even be a red suit, but NEVER a higher no trump; your computer partner is erratic - he often doesn't get 2- or 3-suited if he wins the bid and sometimes bids 9 even if he doesn't have nearly the hand to do it with; interface artwork looks nice but the buttons for selecting and placing your bid and checking the bid scores are unnecessarily small.

I love 500 and even though this is pretty much all that's out there I was too frustrated to continue playing it. The fact that I had to download the pay version because the lite version was buggy adds insult to injury.

### 1/5 — Ultimate 500

*2015-10-01, version 1.8*

Why can you not go 8 Diamonds when the opposition has gone 8 Clubs? The app needs some fine adjustments especially with Joker.

### 1/5 — Game Locks Up

*2015-09-17, version 1.8*

The single player game continually locks up forcing you to abandon the game and lose all of your stats. I've never been able to play an online game as there is never enough users.

It's too bad that there is not much choice in 500 apps.

### 2/5 — Glitchy not glitzy

*2015-08-29, version 1.8*

Bought the app after having too many ads in the lite version. Sorry I did - the game glitches so often I have to delete it & download again. Continual game closures & not letting you back in is frustrating & annoying. When it plays its good but I find myself having to delete & redownload around every dozen or so hands.

### 3/5 — Single player bad calls

*2015-04-10, version 1.6*

I found the app to look good but the bots on single player mode make unrealistic calls making the single player mode frustrating.
Can't wait to try multiplayer mode.

### 1/5 — Ne télécharger pas!

*2021-01-03, version 8.2*

Rien ne fonctionne, c’est une arnaque

### 1/5 — Online invite not working

*2020-07-11, version 8.1*

Created a game and invited my friends. They all got the game link but couldn’t select it.

Ended up using Trickster (which is free).

### 1/5 — Keeps locking up

*2020-04-13, version 8.0*

There’s so many good games, I’m always disappointed to pay for one with such a huge bug.
Keep it free till you work out how to keep it operating. Basic functions (like being able to start a game or invite someone without permanently locking up the app) need to work 100% of the time before you take people’s money.

### 1/5 — Dropping out

*2019-09-04, version 5.9*

Used to be our favourite game. Now drops out all the time. Terrible!!

### 1/5 — Dawn

*2018-07-16, version 4.1*

This game is let down by computer partner making ridiculous bids and constantly losing!

### 1/5 — Lobby and setup won’t work even after deleting / reinstall / name change

*2018-07-08, version 4.1*

We love this game but now it will not work on any device - help !

### 1/5 — EXTREMELY Slow and hard to use

*2017-07-29, version 4.0*

This game takes for ever to play! And even the computer takes 10 minutes to make a call!! Do NOT waste your money

### 1/5 — 500

*2017-05-01, version 4.0*

Good game if you want to be just a forth player, can't even discard my choice of cards when I pick up kitty, it's so complicated to just play, I'm sorry I got the app

### 1/5 — Deception

*2016-11-12, version 3.5*

Ai payé pour la version complète afin de pouvoir jouer en ligne mais je n'ai jamais vu d autres joueurs...

### 1/5 — Bad APP!

*2015-12-13, version 2.1*

Agree with Snow Dog 2. Also, when playing off-line, when AI wins bid, first play off suit always plays to the partners Ace, and they ALWAYS have several Aces in off suits. Partner bid 6 NT and had King high in just one suit. If you want to play with people/partners/computer who don't know the game go online and play and save your money.

### 5/5 — Online

*2021-08-23, version 8.2*

Greetings, haven’t touched base in awhile. Thanks for making the best 500 game out there! Ran into an issue last few weeks, the online feature is no longer working…don’t know if you’ve received any feedback on that or not. I’m plugged into the Game Center so if there’s not an issue, ok to re-install without losing any data/settings? On another note, leaving messages in the online center doesn’t seem to garner much interest. Any way to connect with players to begin a game? No I don’t have Facebook. Thanks for taking all my suggestions in the past and adding them to your app!

### 5/5 — Great game

*2020-01-30, version 7.5*

Great game. I play the online version with my kids. A bug was introduced with an update to IOS which the developer fixed immediately.
Very responsive support!

### 5/5 — Great adaptation

*2019-03-08, version 4.2*

Pretty flawless, stable and highly engrossing. Perhaps a shade too easy to beat the AI on open misere. That’s my only quibble. My favorite train ride game.

### 5/5 — Jeu 500...

*2015-03-10, version 1.6*

Nous aimons beaucoup votre jeu; très beaux graphiques. Il manque un petit quelque chose...de la musique.

### 5/5 — Fun & smart

*2014-08-18, version 1.5*

Helpful, very well thought out and has lots of great options. Easily best 500 game app I've played so far.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2014-06-06, version 1.4*

Fun and easy to play alone. Cool with online friends. Computer players are strong. Great for a 500 fix!

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2014-05-17, version 1.2*

Love this app! It downloaded and opened without an issue. The graphics are great, it's easy to use, and I love the handy instruction guide! Offline and online player modes are also a great feature. Wish all my card game apps worked this well. Definitely recommend this app

### 4/5 — best 500 game

*2023-09-06, version 8.5*

i have been playing this game for a while and it is the best 500 app that i’ve played however when i change the partner names the old partner name appears at the end of a trick eg i change my partner name to Rod but the old partner name Ian appears at end of trick ‘Greg and Ian won’ rather than ‘Greg and Rod’ also result of trick appears slightly before last card is revealed also can’t seem to reset stats

### 4/5 — Love/hate this game

*2022-05-20, version 8.4*

It's a good app but I can't believe how many lousy hands I get dealt compared to the opposite team. Hardly ever get high ranking cards. My luck can't be that bad as I've played lots of hands now. Also some cards played by them are as if they are viewing each other's hands. Too set up to be believable. Apart from the annoyance of these two points, it's great.

### 4/5 — Good fun, with some flaws

*2017-03-03, version 3.7*

This is a well made 500 game, and well worth your time. At this point I have put several hours into this, and have played a total of 127 games, around 8000 tricks, so safe to say I've gotten my money's worth. The deals are consistent, and i havent found any bugs with the game so far.
I have a couple of complaints however. Firstly, the presentation is quite lacking- there are no complex animations which is fine, however the background, fonts, and the cards themselves look like they have been put together with minimal effort, which is disappointing, however this issue becomes redundant after enough play. The second, and more enduring issue is the AI. Generally speaking, the AI is good, they play in consistently and there are options to turn up bidding aggressiveness. They don't learn or play like a real person but this isnt much of an issue, however the way the AI manages predictions is frankly ridiculous- the AI (especially the enemy AI) clearly knows that certain cards are in their partner's hand, with no possible way of them knowing as much. This generally occurs in off-suit leads, where if the leader's partner has an ace they will always lead the correct suit, mysteriously predicting correctly. An example is a recent game I played, in which the AI bid 10 clubs (one i hadnt seen before) and proceeded to win every trick, including an incredible off suit lead that their partner won with an ace. This kind of thing is ridiculous and incredibly frustrating, not least because a 10 clubs win is an entire game's worth of points. This phenomena means that it is very difficult to deny the AI anything below an 8 bid, up to risk 1 at least. As a result i would suggest anyone who plays this game turn the bid risk up to 2, however be wary that your partner will make a number of stupid bids as a result.
Aside from this (relatively minor) issue, which only becomes a huge issue with a large amount of play, this game is fantastic and well worth your money
