But other than that, it’s a really good game. ### 4/5 — Phenomenal game *2026-06-26, version 3.0* I really love the animation it’s very realistic compared to the previous Fox simulator games, I really love the ambience and environment the forest has never felt more alive and realistic it is one of the things I love most, everything else is very cool, it’s awesome and more advanced and different to the other Fox simulator games, I love the sound effects, I love how you can control the volume of the music and ambience, the map is very big and you can do endless exploring, the water itself looks very realistic and reflective and the new graphics, buttons and conditions you added to the game are what stand out mostly. The only trouble is that I find it impossible to clean my mate and kits whenever I try to drag my finger on the screen to clean them it doesn’t work and whenever my fox is on water it doesn’t swim, it simple walks like it isn’t on water, I expect it to swim… so I politely ask that you fix that because it’s one of my favorite things to do in the game. Overall, the game was absolutely worth buying and I almost see absolutely nothing wrong with it, it’s amazing! ### 4/5 — Fine but insanely buggy *2026-06-20, version 3.0* I really like this game but my favorite thing to do on GFG Games is find all of the houses/homes and after five immediately ran out of homes so can you please add more homes? Also, I would like more boss fights and more XP from boss fights and harder boss fights and how heck do you clean your mate like it just doesn’t work. And there are so many bugs at one point I was my fox was falling and then appeared to land in a pink lake and the lake was all glitchy, and it was just weird another time on the icons there was two of the same fox and not one of them. And when a foxes dies the timer stops whenever I can’t see the icon so I have to constantly touch the icon, so the time works ### 4/5 — Good! But Glitchy Game *2026-06-09, version 3.0* So I play this game, and it is amazing! So fun! I like that cubs will grow into adults at 12 months old, and that you can see the time in the game and the day, month and year if you click the fox’s profile! I love it! But if you play too long, the game exits you out, and you have to sign back in again. That’s not frustrating to me, though. I like it when it’s winter, the snow is beautiful! It’s easy to see mice, too! Another glitch is that sometimes you’re chasing mice or rabbits, and they just suddenly disappear, or run into your den and never come out, or just climb a hill or a very large mountain/slope, and they disappear! I found that very frustrating because I love to chase mice and rabbits. Also, for the Stealth Mode in the Fighter section of the book icon when you press the fox, it doesn’t really work! The predators still see me and chase me, even if I don’t jump or attack it! Also, if you click on your cub or mate, you can’t clean them! If you just accidentally click on your mate or cub, they just sit down and stare at you, no matter how far you go, and they won’t follow you unless you either race, fight, howl, feed, or do a quest with them. I do have a question, if you fight and win against bosses, do you get XP? I love how you can interact with your mate and cubs, and the graphics are just a huge improvement from the original game. I have a couple suggestions that would make it even better. 1) can you make it so you can see where your pack is on the world map? That would be great because sometimes I don’t know where they are. 2) it would be cool if you could have your cubs in litters, like if I don’t have any cubs t level 15, I could have 2 at once? You can start your own family, do boss fights, unlock new skins, explore, and just survive,I recommend it, it is a bit buggy though, it can crash when you try to mate, it usually works with the fight quest or the race quest, other wise it usually crashes, but it is fun! And then I find some more water and food and lay down a little and I’m thinking I should beat a boss. So I go to the raven and beat it(take that raven). Then I go and visit the farm. I go and mess with the chickens, sheep and cows. Then I find a herd of wild horses. They’re calm and chill, then it turns into nighttime. So I go back to my den but the night is not moving along so I get up and sleep and I did that 10 times. 10 times!!! It wouldn’t work so I just went outside and the moon wasn’t shining. So I’m walking around confused. Then I see a tall something stand near the farm and I think “ there are no humans in this game”. Then I walk closer and closer but it’s still blurred. And then the screen goes black. If you're like me and always searching up fox sim games or even wolf sim games,ANYTHING CANINE, Then this is the game for you. It only costs 1 dollar too, which was worth it. But of course every game has a flaw. When it carries things the preys body kinda tweaks out.. And starts like spinning and stuff, it's too much ragdoll. And not only that, I'm big on animation and the run cycle is flawless, but the trot is.. Ehh... Kinda wonky.. And the tail movement is also too free spirited.. Ok as for pack members, they don't even follow me much, and when they do they are running SIDEWAYS but going forward! 😭, that bothers me a bit. I get that this game was made like 7 years ago, so its good for a 2019 game.. (The first one) and I was amazed! It was my childhood game, I loved it. I played the other ones too. But when I saw this I was so excited because it had an upgrade. I love the detail about the mates, trust, maturity, and more. It’s a little laggy, all the number 2 ones of the OGs but just turn all graphics on settings very low for a bit, until you find a mate, then back to high! I definitely recommend this game for any animal lovers. I love to go out hunting, I love how realistic it is, I really like that I can unscented an animal’s scent marks, I like the graphics because they are very realistic and pretty, and I especially like that the foxes all have personality’s! One thing though is that when I by a very blue river, I would usually cross a bunch of fish (specifically salmon), and when I try to pick it up, I have them all in my mouth, but the thing is I cannot let go of them except 1, and I cannot eat them to get rid of them. They just all get stuck in my mouth. Also, every about 30 minutes of playing, the game kicks me out, especially when I am chasing a mouse (I call them Pygmy Shrews even though they aren’t actually). I also think that finding mates should be easier. I am trying to find a mate, but I cannot find one, and when I finally do, and the fox wants me to prove myself, it kicks me out of the game when I try to accept what it wants me to do! You can pretty much only get a mate if it asks you to race it (which they are almost impossible to beat since they have unlimited stamina, and you almost only win if they get stuck on things like trees, logs, and rocks), fight it, or do a roaring contest. Also, when I try to improve my mate or kit’s affinity, I can only do roaring contests, racing, fighting, or giving treats or food. When I try to clean my mate, I either freeze there and get stuck trying to clean my mate when they are all muddy somehow, or I get kicked out of the game. Please fix this glitch! It is very annoying. This game overall is amazing, and me and my sister like to talk about our fox’s life and how they are doing, but there still could be a few improvements to make. I also REALLY like that they have the date in the menu so you can tell what is your fox’s current month, and I like that is snows during winter in the forest and if you get too cold, you have to find a way to stay warm, but another thing is that sometimes the weather is incorrect. Some examples are: I was running in the forest during the summer, and it began to snow. This game is amazing, and it really deserves a 5 stars despite having many glitches and mistakes, and I’ve always liked the Gluten Free Games company because they have very cool simulators, especially since I’ve always wanted to be a different animal than a human.
