## What is Ultimate Japanese Word Search?

Find it. Swipe it. Learn it.
Ultimate Japanese Word Search (Kotoba Sagashi) is a word search puzzle you can play in hiragana, katakana and kanji.

Find the words hidden in the grid and trace them with your finger. It's simple, relaxing, and perfect for a few spare minutes.

Every time you find a word, its reading appears in romaji — not just for kanji, but for every word. Even if you can't read Japanese yet, you'll learn how each word sounds while you play.

More than 500 themes and over 10,000 puzzles are included: animals, food, seasonal words, famous writers, samurai warlords, tricky place names, four-character idioms, local specialties from all over Japan, and much more — from everyday words to deep cuts.

Every word you find is saved automatically to your Word Notebook. Curious about an unfamiliar word, a place or a person? Tap it in the notebook to look it up on the web.

Want more of a challenge? Try Detective Mode: the word list is hidden, and you search the grid using only the theme as your clue. It's more than finding letters — it tests your reasoning, imagination and vocabulary.

And for the ultimate test, Challenge Mode adds a time limit to Detective Mode. Can you clear all 100 puzzles in a row?

Fun for all ages — kids, adults and the whole family can build vocabulary and pick up trivia about Japan while they play.
