Now, after a series of updates, these games are too difficult. Whether it’s running out of money or having no good players available. It is too difficult to have any kind of realistic success equivalent to the team you have created. ### 3/5 — Just ok *2026-07-05, version 1.5.0* the trade interface is like really the only complaint I have like nothing ever goes through you have to pretty overpay like crazy just to get something done ### 4/5 — Pitching and Coaches *2026-06-26, version 1.5.0* This game is so much fun and the building of your team through scouting and international signings is great. The only thing that really needs changing in my opinion is being able to scout coaches. It’s crazy that you can scout all kinds of players but not coaches and with how important chemistry is in this game, scouting coaches would be a massive help. Also why do almost all of my starting pitchers go 7+ innings even though they have given up 8 runs through the first 3? I need to be able to change my pitchers out so they aren’t just getting killed the whole game with no true ability to fight back. If those 2 changes are made, this game would be the best baseball manager game out there. ### 4/5 — Great and Fun but needs some additions *2026-05-30, version 1.5.0* This game is heaven sent. This brought me and my dad closer as father and son as we would play this game as soon as he got home every day, and it was the best! However I wish there was some additions. I got a couple ideas if possible I would like an email to give some suggestions to how to game could be more immersive and the fun of the game can last longer. Thank you! ### 3/5 — ok but some strange mechanics *2026-03-11, version 1.5.0* Revised review: I’ve played for a few months now, and the game can be a lot of fun. There is a large emphasis on team chemistry. I have found matching coaches and player styles generally out weighs all other attributes. The one thing that is bad about the game is the stats are totally unrealistic. The new legacy challenges that were added are near impossible. I have won the league 3 years in a row and never achieved more than one legacy goal. A legacy goal once was to win 150 regular season games…in a 162 game season. I’m also stuck on the owner goal of 140 regular season wins, which also seems impossible. So I’m kind of just stuck not improving. Its also really frustrating to have great bullpen pitchers who never enter the game, even after a starter has given up 5 home runs and pitched 7+ innings. ### 3/5 — Good but some easily fixable flaws *2026-02-15, version 1.4.0* It’s a fun game and you can adjust the difficulty to whatever level of challenge you want. There are some really irritating features though. The fact that players can play any position is pretty silly but can be worked around, but some of the challenges are borderline impossible. Coaches in particular are ridiculous - there are never 5 star coaches available to hire and by the time you’ve played 20 seasons there are none left so getting your average coach rating to 95 is basically impossible ### 3/5 — ok but some strange mechanics *2025-11-23, version 1.4.0* I want to really like this game. However, the player retirement seems very random and unrealistic. I’ve played this in the past and never had this problem. I’ll select the reward it says claimed but when I get off it the notification is there and it doesn’t give me the reward. I made another dynasty to see if it would fix and it didn’t. There is literally nothing you can do in this game to get an advantage, you can spend more, custom fit the difficulty and salary cap, make all the right moves and yet somehow the other teams set on “easy” mode are as good as the Dodgers. Even if you spend money, it will not give you an edge. There is huge potential with this game, but feels mostly like a cash grab. ### 1/5 — Free editing *2026-07-13, version 1.5.0* You can freely edit team name but not the players please make it free to edit the players ### 1/5 — Demotion only under 22? *2026-07-06, version 1.5.0* Im sorry, this makes no sense at all and is highly unrealistic. Whats even better is the game starts you with players that are super old in the minors and players that are hilariously bad but are just barely over 22. It makes no sense. I used to play the game a ton and pulled away from it. What’s the point of having relief pitchers if my 79 overall 5th starter is playing 9 innings? Why can’t we go to the bullpen instead of watching our pitchers get tired and shelled? This isn’t the 1920s no pitcher is playing 9 innings ever game once again unreal metrics ### 1/5 — Impossible Structure *2025-11-20, version 1.4.0* Really awesome game which makes this so much worse. It’s literally impossible to survive more than a couple seasons and not get fired. Unless you spend money in game. If you make your team even slightly competitive, you will lose money because your salaries are more than your income because all of your facilities start at ground level. So the only solution is to tank for a couple seasons while building up the facilities. That’s what I was doing and had poured hours into this game and was finally starting to turn the corner, when I got fired. So that’s it. Game over. I can start a new one and waste more time but I know I’ll just get fired again. So what could’ve been my favorite app/game is now an app I will have to delete. The lie that players who got your coach is just that a lie. Teams with higher ratings consistently outperform you. The game would be slightly better if you had an advantage developing minor leaguers and drafting. But unless you want to pay to upgrade stuff you basically take wild guesses in the draft and hope you can find a few that are a fit.
